Christmas is looking a little different in and around Disney World this year!

The shopping and dining center, Disney Springs, is hosting a modified version of the Christmas Tree Trail and even some NEW entertainment! Disney JUST announced a brand new way to greet Santa and Mrs. Claus this year.
In previous years, Santa would appear in the middle of the Tree Trail. Big crowds would flock to St. Nick for photo ops. The new physical distancing mandates have changed the way guests interact with characters in the parks. This will affect Santa’s appearances at Disney Springs this year as well.

Santa will now make appearances in a brand new watercade! The watercade will most likely be similar to the character cavalcades and promenades we’ve seen in the theme parks. Santa and Mrs. Claus will board a jolly holiday boat and surf Lake Buena Vista for all the guests to see! This is how you can get a cute selfie and fun photo op with the jolly ol’ elf!

We’ll be back for more holiday updates real soon! Hopefully, we’ll soon see Santa and Mrs. Claus taking a relaxing boat ride through Springs.
