Pixar has a special place in the hearts of Disney fans, thanks to the memorable films (and shorts) the company has released to theaters, online, and on Disney+.
But Pixar wants everyone to know that it also has a social consciousness.
The company recently announced a new YouTube special through their Instagram account, set to be called Exploring Blackness. The special will focus on Pixar’s black employees and collaborators as they “reflect on their Black identity and share their stories.”
While further details are sparse, Pixar did announce that Exploring Blackness will debut on their YouTube channel soon. We’ll keep an eye out for further updates from Pixar and let you know about anything else the studio has planned!
