NEWS: Chadwick Boseman, Actor Best Known for “Black Panther”, Has Passed Away at 43

The universe lost a superhero today as Chadwick Boseman has passed away at the age of 43.

The Associated Press

Boseman is best known for his role as Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

His official twitter account shared a statement from his family which confirmed the sad news. The tweet also shared that he was diagnosed with Stage III Colon Cancer in 2016, which progressed into State IV. According to ABC News, the diagnosis was not previously public.

In addition to playing Black Panther, Boseman is also known for portraying icons James Brown and Jackie Robinson.

  3. Oh my gosh that’s horrible news. I had no idea he was battling cancer and thought he was set to play Black Panther in the next film. Prayers for his family.
