Disney’s Beach Club Resort in Walt Disney World has recently reopened after temporarily closing due to the global health crisis.

Currently, the resort’s character dining restaurant, Cape May Cafe, is temporarily closed, while Beaches and Cream and the resort’s main Quick Service restaurant, Beach Club Marketplace reopened with the resort. However, today, Disney updated their website to reflect that the Beach Club Marketplace will be down for a scheduled refurbishment starting this week.
The refurbishment is set to begin on August 23rd, one day before the neighboring hotel, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will reopen. During this time, Disney will set up temporary accommodations for snacks, beverages, gifts, and more around the resort. Some temporary offerings will be located at The Solarium right down the hall from the Marketplace.

Beach Club guests will have the option to use Yacht Club’s restaurants and amenities once the resort reopens. They can visit the Yacht Club’s Quick Service restaurant, The Market at Ale & Compass, as well as the resort’s open Table Service restaurants.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on the progress for the Beach Club Market place’s refurbishment.
