The Princess Bride is an 80s cult classic that made everyone want to live in a fantasy world of romance, adventure, and hilarious antics. Now, we can step into the storyline with a new board game inspired by the film!
According to Gizmodo, The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game created by Ravensburger is currently set to release at Target and other stores in October for $25.
The concept is to drop the players directly into the film. The tabletop adaptation will navigate through six chapters that mimic the events of the movie. The events will have special rules and requirements that will force the players to work together and advance the plot of the movie. The cutest object being the grandson who interrupts the story along the way!
You killed my father. Prepare to die! Not really…but we’re excited to step into the shoes of Inigo Montoya and pretend to be the revenge-seeking fencer! We’re anxiously awaiting the release of this new game. In the meantime, we’ll rewatch The Princess Bride for the 100th time on Disney+!
