Listen to This Inspiring Commencement Speech From a Disney Filmmaker!

Hercules inspires us to go the distance, Remy tells us that we can do anything we set our mind to, and Carl reminds us that adventure is out there.

Disney movies have helped inspire many of us grow into the people that we are today. Many students of the Class of 2020 have probably learned a few lessons from these movies too! And, now Disney wants to celebrate their achievement with a special message.

Don Hahn, who is the filmmaker behind movies like Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Maleficent among others, wants to tell the Class of 2020 that they are the heroes of their own stories!

Although they might not be getting a normal graduation ceremony, Hahn tells graduates to “meditate on the possibilities of life” going forward and to “celebrate the milestones.”
