Pre-Production Has Begun for Season 3 of The Mandalorian on Disney+!

With the second season of the wildly popular Disney+ series The Manadalorian slated to be released this fall, we already have our sights set on season 3!

According to Variety, the third season is currently in the works! Just tell us where we can find more Baby Yoda and we’re there!

The article shared that Jon Favreau, the series’ creator, has reportedly been “writing season 3 for a while”, and that executive creator Doug Chiang and the art department have spent “the past few weeks” creating concepts for the third season.

This preparation work officially transitioned to the pre-production stage, according to Variety’s sources. These reports say that the production design department began working on season 3 on April 20th.

Also of note is that the show was able to successfully wrap on season 2 in early March before stay-at-home orders went into effect. PHEW! That should hopefully mean Mando and Baby Yoda are right on track to join us for season two on schedule.
