And no, that isn’t just me singing High School Musical songs at the top of my lungs while stuck in quarantine, that’s an actual announcement.
Initial stars in the line up included Christina Aguilera, Michael Bublé, Josh Gad and earlier today we shared that even more names, such as Ariana Grande and Demi Levato, have been added to the roster!
And recently, it’s been shared that TROY BOLTON HIMSELF has gotten his head in the game, and will be joining the rest of the High School Musical Cast!
That’s right — Zac Efron will be joining Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay), Vanessa Hudges (Gabriella), Corbin Bleu (Chad), Monique Coleman (Taylor), and Lucas Grabeel (Ryan) as they perform together from their homes, proving we really are all in this together.
Initially Zac wasn’t expected to join, but according to Deadline’s interview with Director Kenny Ortega, “We couldn’t reach Zac until late but when we did, he immediately jumped in, of course.”
Zac must’ve realized it was Now or Never to reunite with his former Wildcats, and it’s truly What I’ve Been Looking For.
The Disney Family Sing Along will air on ABC on April 16th at 8pm.
