Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood to Temporarily Close Resort Hotels and CityWalk

Last week, Universal Orlando announced that it would be temporarily closing its parks through the end of the month due to concerns over the coronavirus outbreak.

While at the time Universal maintained that their parks and resort hotels would remain open, they made an announcement today that that will not be the case.Universal CityWalk at both Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood will be closing starting at midnight tonight, March 16th. Additionally, all hotels at Universal Orlando Resort will be closing starting at 5 PM on Friday, March 20th.

Currently, the closures for both parks theme parks will be through March 31st.

  1. Both parks, so bummed that we can’t come at this time but trying to find a time before we send our oldest off to college in the fall.
