Check Out the New Medals for the 2020 Star Wars Rival Run!

Use the Force — and get running! If you’re a Star Wars fan, there is no better time to join forces with runDisney than during Star Wars Rival Run Weekend! And now, to go with your Star Wars-themed running outfit and your lightsaber, we’re taking a look at the Rival Run medals!

Star Wars Rival Run Weekend is April 16 through April 19, 2020, giving runners the opportunity to participate in the 5K, 10K, half marathon, kids races, and two challenge races being offered during the weekend.

Kids race finishers receive these rubber ‘medals”.

You can celebrate completing the 5K run with this medal featuring Ahsoka Tano!

The 10K gets you a black and white medal featuring Princess Leia and a Stormtrooper.

Run in the half-marathon, you must, and receive this Yoda-inspired medal, you will!

For runners who participate in the Rival Run Challenge (which includes completion of the 10K and half marathon), the hardware is a TIE Fighter medal.

There’s also this Millennium Falcon Medal, which you can receive with completion of the Kessel Run Challenge (this includes a half marathon in the parks and the virtual half marathon at home).

If you can’t make it to Disney World for race weekend, you could still get a medal at home! The Chewbacca Medal is available for runners that participate in the virtual half-marathon at home.
