Somehow it is already July, so you know what that means! The year 2020 will be here before we know it!
Yup, 2019 is speeding by rather quickly and soon we will all be seeing double as we jump into the new year.
One BIG thing to look forward to next year is the 2020 runDisney events. These races give runners the opportunity to see and experience Walt Disney World Resort in a new light as they run through/around the resort.
Often times, just to make things a bit more fun, the runners dress up in Disney-themed gear!
To get runners even more excited for the marathons next year, Disney has released limited edition MagicBands based on two 2020 race weekend themes.
Event retail bands will be available in limited quantities for the following race weekends:
- 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend (January 8-12, 2020) — Limited Edition size 2,000
- 2020 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend (February 20-23, 2020) — Limited Edition size 1,000
A third MagicBand, for the 2020 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend (set for April 16-19, 2020), with a Limited Edition size of 1,000, will be available when event registration opens July 16, 2019.
Retailing at $34.99 plus tax, the commemorative MagicBands will be available for pre-arrival purchase via the Products tab in your runDisney account for participants currently registered for available 2020 runDisney events.

Any idea when you’ll be able to order them? I can’t find them in my run Disney account for the princess races. Or did they already sell it?
It may be a little too soon for the February races, Sheena — the info we have is rather vague, saying only they’ll be available for “pre-arrival purchase.” Check your runDisney account periodically, I guess.
