Mickey has already hosted his Very Merry Christmas Party in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom — twice! We were there both nights to get some pictures (and cookies!). This year’s Party is full of fun, sweet treats, dancing, characters, and more!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event held select nights in November and December. Guests get to indulge in specialty sweet and savory treats, watch a Christmas parade and fireworks show, meet characters, enjoy shorter lines for rides, and nosh on some complimentary goodies at various locations throughout the Park.
All guests are wristbanded as they enter, and there is a special map for the event that includes open attractions, PhotoPass locations (there are special Magic Shots during the Party), character meet and greet locations, dance party locations, and treat locations.
Follow the signs and giant nutcrackers for free treats and sips!
For an additional fee, guests can attend a Fireworks Dessert Party for a special view of Cinderella Castle and the Party Fireworks show.
You won’t want to miss some of the stage shows throughout the evening. And the vocal group The Edge Effect are a new addition this year — they perform on the Rockettower Plaza Stage ahead of the Totally Tomorrowland Christmas show.
There are several dance parties with lots of favorite characters around the Park for the young and young at heart!
Be sure to meet and greet some of the characters in the Park — some are in their winter and holiday apparel, and others are available to meet and greet exclusively during the Party — including the Seven Dwarfs!
Another highlight of the Party is Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Be sure to get your spot along the Parade route to see this popular Parade!
Of course, the Party is always a great time to see Cinderella Castle all lit up for the season!
