Love Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas? Well, Regal Cinemas has a Halloween treat for you!

This weekend, the classic 1993 Disney movie can be seen on select big screens nationwide. “The film follows the misadventures of Jack Skellington, Halloweentown’s beloved pumpkin king, who has become bored with the same annual routine of frightening people in the “real world.” When Jack accidentally stumbles on Christmastown, all bright colors and warm spirits, he gets a new lease on life – he plots to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role. But Jack soon discovers even the best-laid plans of mice and skeleton men can go seriously awry,” according to the official description.

Wish you could meet The Nightmare Before Christmas stars Jack Skellington and his lady love, Sally Stitches, in real life? You can! They will continue to appear this weekend at the last dates of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Although Oct. 30 and 31 are sold out, tickets still are available for tonight, Oct. 27, and Friday, Oct. 28. Prices at the gate are $95 plus tax for ages 10 and older and $90 for ages 3 to 9 on these two dates.

Jack and Sally have moved locations at the party this year and are meeting guests at the Liberty Square Gazebo. That’s the location right off Main Street U.S.A. that used to be home to Princess Tiana. The pair has begun meeting guests before the party even officials starts at 7 p.m., Which is great because they command hours-long lines. You must have a party wristband to get in the queue. Also, know that Jack and Sally do not sign autographs, but they do pass out autograph cards to guests they interact with.

For the last several years, Jack Skellington and Sally have greeted guests at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which both require a separate ticket. You cannot meet them anywhere else at Walt Disney World.

However, you can meet them onboard each of the Disney Cruise Line ships when they are hosting Halloween on the High Seas events. My family and I returned from such a sailing earlier this month. On Embarkation Day, there was a special late-night presentation of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” that was shown in 3D and as a “Sing and Scream” Along. My husband and my daughter caught the tail end of the show, which they have seen many times, in the Walt Disney Theatre. At the end, Jack Skellington and Sally appeared on stage and then led passengers out to the lobby where they posed for photos. This was the only time the pair made an appearance during the cruise.

Have fun celebrating Hallowenn with everyone’s favorite Pumpkin King!
