Arriving at the Disneyland Resort. Visible progress is slow on the work in the Pinocchio Parking lot.

Most of the Winter Village is in place in Downtown Disney and the Christmas tree is up.

I took Monorail Red to the park. Passing by the front entrance to Disneyland. It is still decorated for Halloween. Other areas of the park have moved on to Christmas already.

The Tomorrowland Terrace Stage is being renovated for the new Jedi Training Academy opening in a couple weeks. The top of the band stand has been removed.

The Star Wars Launch Bay sign is now up, the attraction opens on November 16th.
Looks like the Marvel sign will be installed any day now.

The Mark Twain was boarding when I walked by so I decided to go for a cruise and shoot a point of view video from the bow of the ship of the cruise. Here is the result.
Christmas has arrived in New Orleans Square.

A new walkway has been installed spanning from the second floor of New Orleans Square near the Club 33 Jazz Lounge to the Train Station near the exit/wheelchair ramp. It appears to be temporary with some minor theming elements on it. My best guess is this will be used by cast members during the upcoming railroad closure.

Fall plants in the hub with the Matterhorn in the background.

Next stop Disney California Adventure. The car is still MIA from Oswald’s.

Cars Land is ready for Christmas decorations. The poles on the right side of Route 66 have been installed.

Christmas merchandise out at Sarge’s.

The word “Flying” has been removed from Luigi’s so the windows now just say Tires.

ShellieMay has arrived and is for sale along with Duffy. Wonder if that means Gelatoni will be arriving at some point.

Treasures in Paradise has an interesting assortment of merchandise… Duffy, princess, Star Wars and Christmas are the big sections.

Star Wars Christmas “sweater” t-shirts.

The Good Dinosaur merchandise

Donald passed by as I was walking the Pier.

From the Fun Wheel you can see the work on the Cove Bar expansion, well if I would have actually allowed the camera to focus you could…
A car was visible at Luigis.
Flik is ready for Christmas

Monorail Orange passing by the front entrance as the sun was setting.

The Haunted Mansion Holiday was a popular draw as always. The queue filled the Magnolia Park area.

Small World is closed for the holiday makeover. It returns next week.

Heading into Toontown. The entrance is still set up for Halloween with one more party to go on Halloween night.

But inside Christmas is taking over.

Jingle Cruise shirts are available in Adventureland.

The Star Wars Launch Bay sign after dark.

Disneyland waits at 8:15pm. Notice the 2 hr wait for Haunted Mansion and Ghost Galaxy.

Critter Country has some Christmas decorations up.

I closed out my evening with Fantasmic! which will be closed next year due to Star Wars land construction.
Hope you enjoyed this highlight tour of the Disneyland Resort. For additional photos and details from this trip you can check out the full Disneyland Update I posted on my site, http://disneygeek.com Also be sure to follow me on twitter @disneygeekcom for pictures from the parks.
