As of 9/29/04:
— Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, which evacuated campers on Saturday, September 25, is scheduled to reopen noon, September 29.
— Hard-hit Disney's Vero Beach Resort remains closed while damage is assessed and recovery efforts take place. Guests with reservations through October 31, 2004, are being contacted.
— The Coral Reef Restaurant, in Epcot's Living Seas pavilion, sustained some damage and is closed, but is slated to reopen October 3. The Living Seas Pavilion itself is open during regular park hours.
—Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure at the Disney-MGM Studios is closed until further notice due to damage from Hurricane Jeanne.

Living Seas Closed Thru 10/3 – Due to the impact of Hurricane Jeanne, the Living Seas pavilion, the Coral Reef restaurant, and the Dolphins in Depth tour at Epcot will not be operating until Sunday, October 3.
Guests of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground were temporarily re-located to other WDW resort properties as of Saturday, September 25. Fort Wilderness is scheduled to re-open on Tuesday, September 28, 2004.
Disney's Vero Beach Resort closed due to weather on Friday, September 24, and is scheduled to re-open on Saturday, October 2, 2004.
Area Airport Updates – Orlando International Airport is currently closed and anticipates re-opening the ticket counter at 10:30am on Monday. If Guests have existing reservations, they may proceed to the airport. If they are not holding a ticket, they should contact the carrier to make arrangements in advance.
The Orlando Sanford International Airport is currently closed and anticipates re-opening at 6:30pm on Monday.
Tampa International Airport is reporting no flights in or out at this time.
All Airports suggest Guests should contact their specific airline carrier directly for specific details.

Vacationers at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground are being relocated to other WDW resort properties as of Saturday, September 25, in anticipation of severe weather from Hurricane Jeanne.
Also, Disney's Vero Beach Resort is temporarily closed as of Friday, September 24.
9/26 – 11:18 a.m.: Damage Reported At OIA – Flight operations at Orlando International Airport are suspended until the impact of weather conditions associated with Hurricane Jeanne pass. At this time, high winds and rain conditions prevent normal flight activity. There are preliminary reports of damage that include water intrusions in the main terminal and airsides. At this time, maintenance and operations staffs are assessing the damage for a more complete evaluation of storm impact. 9/26 – 6:56 a.m.: FPL Reports Nearly 1 Million In Dark – Florida Power and Light says nearly 1 million customers without power after Hurricane Jeanne. Approximately 166,000 of those are in Brevard County, and 16,000 are in Volusia County. Progress Energy reports about 80,000 customers without power, and Kissimmee Utility Authority reports 11,400 customers in the dark. — WESH.com Web staff
9/26 – 6:55 a.m.: Jeanne 50 Miles South Of Orlando – At 7 a.m. Jeanne was centered near latitude 27.7 north, longitude 81.4 west, or about 50 miles south of Orlando. Maximum sustained winds are 100 mph, and Jeanne is moving west-northwest at 12 mph. WESH meteorologist Mike O'Lenick

At 5 p.m. on 9/25/04, Orlando International Airport will close due to the impending arrival of Hurricane Jeanne. There will be no flights until Monday, September 27, 2004, at NOON.
