NEWS: Disney World Will Open When They Feel it is “Safe to Do So”, According to Bringing Back Tourism Group

The Orange County Task Force group "Bringing Back Tourism" met today, discussing the importance of major attractions such as Disney World in relation to Central Florida's economy. It was emphasized in this meeting that the theme parks will reopen when they feel it is safe to do so.

NEWS: Mayor Demings Reveals Re-Opening Plan for Florida’s Orange County

Orange County Major Jerry Demings led a press briefing today which outlined recommendations from the Orange County Task Force on how industries can move into Phase One of Florida's gradual reopening. During the press briefing, he provided his thoughts on when major theme parks, like Disney, could reopen.

NEWS: Orange County Mayor Expected to Announce Plan for Re-Opening Tomorrow

Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings announced that he will unveil a plan on Friday that will outline the county's plans moving forward when it comes to entering Phase One of Governor DeSantis' plan for re-opening the state of Florida. Much of Disney World is located in Orange County, and the Mayor's plans may provide potential insight into how the resort could begin the slow process of re-opening.
