Review of Coronado Springs Resort (Moderate Resort)

If you are looking to stay here for your disney vacation, you should know Coronado is among other things, a convention hotel. From the neutral room colors, and the extremely subtle disney decor, to the lobby lounge serving multiple guests with convention lanyards, this hotel feels like a completely standard (some might say elevated) chain hotel. Honestly, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. If those feelings bring joy, excitement, and enthusiasm, this is a hotel experience you'll love. If the absence of those feelings instead leaves you wondering, "Is the best disney has to offer", please keep looking! Would I stay here should someone offer me a free stay? Sure. Only after I'd made completely sure this was their dream hotel. Would I pay to stay here again? Absolutely not. Disney has so many fabulous hotel choices with fantastic theming, multiple transportation options, and true vacation feelings, that honestly offer joy, excitement, and enthusiasm. Before booking a stay here, genuinely look into one other hotel you'd enjoy staying at. Book that hotel instead. Once you've arrived, make it a point to see Coronado in person should you have time. If you end up loving what you see on the visit, book Coronado for your next disney vacation.

Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff

Cons:

Lack of charm, only offers bus transportation, tower stay is not the same as standard stay, spread out resort

Tried the lunch and got the chicken and rice. I was pleased with the flavor and especially the rice which was good quality. It has similar menu options to “Panda Express” but felt like a step up in terms of taste and quality. The price was high, however, and the portions were small. All in all, a pretty good theme park lunch. I would eat here again but certainly won’t be thinking about it all year in anticipation of my next trip.

Pros:

Wide menu, tasty food, and plenty of shaded seating

Cons:

Expensive and small portions

My wife and I ate here for breakfast on a whim. It was incredible! We had croissant sandwiches, a mickey-shaped cinnamon roll (the best cinnamon roll I’ve had in Disney world), and delicious coconut flavored iced coffee. We are definitely going back here next trip!

Pros:

Affordable, delicious, convenient location and quick service

Cons:

Limited menu and limited seating

Hey friends today we're talking about Disney's Carribean Beach Resort which is always a junkanuu celebration!!

First, pulling in, the grass looked exquisite, and perfectly sharp. KUDOS TO THE LANDSCAPING TEAM!!! xoxo to you guys!! My husband is a landscaper and he would know!

The parking spaces were plentiful and had no trouble finding a spot! There was also lots of handicapped spaces which is good because my husband Daniel has a shaky leg!

We visited our room and it was beautiful but the main amenity this resort has to offer is the vending machines! I have Montana roots so I really appreciate their variety of snacks and beverages.

We visited the pools too and it was great for getting warm on a warm summer day! We really enjoyed the wide cuisine that was offered! Our 5 beautiful boys really enjoyed the Arroz Mamposteao and the Leeward Salad. Me and my husband loved the super slice of cheese pizza with kids portion fries and ketchup! To drink, the boys had a frozen non-alcoholic tropical colada and me and Daniel loved the assorted fountain beverages!

As for the transportation, which I'm sure you're all wondering, the skyliner was great! We skipped a whole park day just to ride it! My husband's a bus driver and he asked to take a whole day to ride the buses and go on the skyliner.

And one of the best parts was when we were pixie dusted by an amazing guest who gave us Double A batteries (which we really needed!) and 3 Quasimodo plushies! Me and my husband took 2 and the boys could share one.

Overall, we loved our experience at Carribean Beach Trinidad suite room 3999. Love you guys and keep calm and Disney on!

Pros:

ALL!

Cons:

It's too good!

Review of Erin McKenna's Bakery

As a celiac, I have to eat gluten free. I don’t have access to any GF bakeries near where I live so it is always a treat to go to Erin McKenna’s at the springs when I’m at Disney. This baker is completely gluten free, and unfortunately it is not easy making baked goods the same without gluten. For people that eat gluten filled baked goods I can understand why they would be disappointed with some of the treats at this bakery. GF baked goods just don’t hit the way gluten baked goods do. Their desserts allow me to eat something that I normally can’t have. Not all of the dessert are great but most of them are fantastic. I especially like the coffee crumb cake. Currently they have a cookie taco (with brownie in side) and it is amazing. The brownie lava cupcake is also fantastic. Personally I don’t care for the donuts as they can be a little dry. Overall, I would highly recommend for anyone who needs a good gluten free dessert.

Pros:

Great for celiacs who love desserts!

Cons:

Gluten eating individuals may not enjoy the different taste and texture of gluten free baked goods

I liked very little of this dining experience. The staff was fantastic. I have Celiac Disease so eating Gluten free is a must. The waitress asked if we wanted to try the salmon and a few of us did. The piece I had was so dry and overcooked. The chicken was the best protein on the plate. The potatoes barrels were my favorite and I typically don’t care for tater tots. Overall this was not a great dining experience. The meal is overpriced for the quality of food. There are many other places I would eat any again over this restaurant.

Pros:

Good with gluten allergy, great staff, bright and colorful

Cons:

Poor tasting food, overpriced, set menu

I went here in January 2025 during a girls' trip with my two sisters. This was our \"first night at Disney\" celebration dinner. We knew this was a pricey choice going in, but we were absolutely enchanted from start to finish! The restaurant was still decked out in Christmas finery, and we could hardly stop taking pictures of the lovely decorations, especially the rotating display above the gazebo. All the staff we interacted with were delightful and friendly. Since some of our party are on weight loss meds, we let them know ahead of time that we would not all be ordering entrees and they were perfectly fine with that and made great suggestions accordingly. The truffle fries were absolutely delicious, as was the croque monsieur and the pasta dish we ordered. We split two desserts between the three of us and it was plenty! Both that we tried (a chocolate cake and a piece of pie) were wonderful! This was a great choice for a first night celebratory meal.

Pros:

food was delicious staff were friendly

Cons:

price is a bit high, even for WDW

The chicken is better than most meals on property. Real white meat chicken, hot honey sauce with okra and red peppers. A New Orleans themed treat and the sweet potato fries are perfect along with the Beignets and Lavender lemonade are sweet and refreshing accordingly

Pros:

Quality Food at fair prices

Review of Beaches and Cream

My wife and I are annual passholders. We're retired and as I age my ears are becoming sensitive to loud environments. I felt the volume of the 50's music in the dining room was excessive. My wife who has good hearing felt so too. I asked our waiter if it could be lowered and he said he would check. Never happened. Never mentioned again.

I think the only restaurant as loud as Beaches and Cream is the Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater.

Our server was friendly and for the most part provided good service. Toward he end of our meal, things slowed down and it took a while to get the check. Once we had the check it took a while for him to come back and then it took a while for him to return with our credit card.

The food was decent, but nothing special. We won't be returning.

Pros:

- Our server was friendly.

Cons:

- TOO LOUD - Service got slow after the initial order was taken.
