I dined here alone on May 23 for lunch. I was seated inside to the left on an upper level. The view was great, as I could see all of the restaurant from this view. I ordered a Maker's Mark neat to start tings off. I then ordered the filet which was cooked perfectly and I also opted for the cabernet pairing suggestion. The wine was outstanding. Someone had done their homework on this one. For desert I opted for the three mini deserts. One , a double vanilla crème brulet that was great, and an even better grapefruit cake. I can't remember the third, but it was quite tasty. I will be coming back here with my wife in February. She is sick of me raving about how great the meal was and wants to see it for herself.

I was the first one in line on May 29th and since I was alone and on business, I decided to take a seat at the bar. The bartender waited for me to decide on a Tiki,Tiki,Tiki, Rum. It was great. The bartenders were very busy, but were attentive and took the time to talk to you. I didn't have a chance to sample any of the food offerings but everyone within earshot of me were raving about how good everything was. I will be back.

We have dined at the California Grill several times before so we had certain expectations. We expect a good meal and we expect the prices to be completely inflated, but in return, we always get some magic (especially because I try to time our meal around the fireworks). Our most recent meal was on July 5, 2015. We entered the elevator and the gentleman manning the buttons had a Disney badge on, but since he didn't say a word the whole trip up, and by the uniform he had on, we thought he was a maintenance worker. The waitstaff, as it turns out, wears the same uniform just with an apron so they look a little more like restaurant servers. When we got upstairs, nobody greated us or told us to check in at the desk (which is closer to the bathrooms than the dining room). Our bright spot was our table location so we could view the fireworks from our seat. Beyond that, the server we had was not very friendly, didn't go out of her way to make recommendations or even to banter. We didn't get an pixie dust from anybody "upstairs". We had just sailed on the Disney Dream where we had been spoiled and attended to -- something you grow to expect when paying Disney prices.

The food was very good and it was awesome being in the park early. We all liked our entree (eggs florentine, croissant, open faced ham sandwich), the drink choices were great and the pastry platter was very good and a nice "extra". The atmosphere is very cool in here - breakfast is set up more like a cafeteria though which is fine with us.
The worst part is the line to get in!
We had an 8:05 ADR and had done the pre-order to save time. Well, we had to wait in a super slow line behind everybody who was ordering their food. All we had to do was pay so it was quite frustrating. They have two lines set up but for some reason do not separate pre-order from people who still have to order. We got in line just before 8 AM and did not get seated until 8:25. Our food did not come until after 8:30. We were very rushed in eating and ended up taking some pastries with us wrapped up.

Loved the atmosphere! Perfect place on a hot day to enjoy lunch.
Kids loved the cars and they laughed at the cheesy movie clips. DW and I enjoyed the atmosphere, that darkness and the AC.
The shakes were super good. The food was just OK but if you get burgers and sandwiches not to expensive by Disney standards.
Lots of fun!

Honestly - this was probably the best thin pizza I have ever had. If you like thin New York style pizza you will love this.
Our family of 5 split the big Metro pizza with sausage and pepperoni. It was amazing!
Desert was great as well - very good tiramisu!
Kids liked the fruity water drink.
It can get very noisy inside so don't go in expecting a quiet dinner...

Stayed last full week June 2015.
We LOVED our Cabin!
We had visited Fort Wilderness before but had not actually stayed.
Our cabin was very nice. Looked exactly like the pics. We were very happy with the cleanliness but the cabin does show it's age a bit. We thought it was very cozy. We let the kids have the bedroom while DW and I slept on the Murphy bed. Plenty of room and it was awesome having a full kitchen. The best part was having our car parked 15 feet from our front door.
Fort Wilderness is not the usual Disney resort but it is so nice and there is so much to do. Our family enjoyed the campfire and the campground pool. Very convenient to be on property for Hoop Dee Doo and Mickey's Backyard BBQ which we all loved.
The staff is so friendly. DW and I kept remarking that we couldn't believe how peaceful the resort is. Our kids wanted to stay another day or two to take advantage of all the other stuff the resort has to offer: archery, watercraft, horse rides. We will probably have to do that next time....
The resort transportation is a bit complicated. I did my research but it took a couple of days to get it down. We never waited for a bus for more than 5-10 minutes. The boat over to MK was a very nice ride. It would have been a nice treat to have a golf cart but we really didn't feel the need to have one. We were in the 2100 loop which was just a short walk from the Meadows but the other cabin loops are far away from everything...

We ate here on June 25 and July 2nd for breakfast. Very good selection of pastry and bagels. For a quick breakfast this is great. Hit it when the park opens and there are no lines and plenty of seating. It is almost hidden where it sits but is worth a look as we always find this as a nice start. For lunch they also have a good selection of sandwiches that looked very good.
Staff was friendly and quick. Nice place to start the busy day with a relaxing juice and pastry. Will always make it a point to go here as we always plan for this.

We dined here on June 27 for the first time ever. We had made a point to try this place as we discovered it a few years back but could not get in. We had a reservation at 425 but waited some 25 minutes to be seated. There were plenty of tables that were empty but had yet to be bused. It appeared that the wait staff had to do the busing, table setup and service so this delayed seating. At one point during our meal over 1/2 the place was empty with tables not setup while people waited.
Aside from that the service was very good and quick. The food we had was excellent and plentiful. The milkshakes were a highlight of the meal as everyone had them. These are hand dipped and very good and well worth the $.
This restaurant is very small and holds less than 100 so the noise is low. Atmosphere while dated was nice and it was a welcome break. Would definetly come here again.
Note: Have a reservation because they are always full.

During our recent trip (June 25 to July 5) we ate here once in the late afternoon before the diner crowd hit. Lines were short and we got our food fast. Usually we get the chicken or ribs but it was too hot for a heavier meal. So we settled on burgers, dogs and chicken sandwiches. Food was ok except the burger was somewhat dry. Plenty of fixing at the bar but I think they also took out the hot cheese here. It's decent for counter service for the standard fare. The seating is crowded and not very spacious so if you have two trays its hard to navigate.
