We ate here a few times for lunch on the DP. DS 11 seemed to always gravitate towards the chili cheese dog. DH and I shared most lunched because of their size. We shared the turkey club a couple times, and DH had the tuna one day and I had the shrimp salad poor boy. I enjoy the shrimp but the bread hoagie roll was just to much bread. I would totally get it again for the shrimp though. As a snack credit I also got a clam chowder which was yummy. the last day we stocked up on all sorts of snacks for the road. The oatmeal cookies are good and the cheese cake . the magic cookie bars are good but too sweet by the end of vacation. We like eating here because at lunch it is quieter and convenient before talking a nap or going to the pool. Of we tried a muffalata once but that wasn't a must have and probably wouldn't get it again ever.

I absolutely love the MagicBands! I have used them 3 times now, the last being in June at POFQ. It's so nice to have all your reservations linked to this bracelet, as well as it being the key to your resort room. I never had to worry about carrying cash, or fumbling in my purse for the room key at the end of a busy day.
The only issue we had was when checking into POR, the bands were trying to link a past trip, so they all had to be reprogrammed. This took about a half hour and many apologies from the cast members assisting us. Because of our inconvenience, we (my party of 4) were all given 2 extra fast passes per person to use as we liked at MK.
I hope this is something Disney keeps for a very long time.

My husband and I ate dinner here on May 7. I made a reservation through the app when I woke that morning and had my pick of times. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated with just a short wait. The restaurant is wonderfully themed and the decorations very interesting. Our server was very much into the theme and was very funny throughout the meal.
The bread and honey were very different but good. We started with the arepas on the recommendation of our server and they were so yummy! My husband had the mac n cheese for his entree and I had the "tastes like chicken". Both were delicious. The food was very flavorful without being too spicy or exotic for the average park guest in my opinion.
The only thing I would change is to make this restaurant like all others with the ADR system since right now they only take same day ADR's. We did love this restaurant and will definitely be back to eat here on our next trip.

We've never gone before because I wasn't impressed with the reviews. We were there on a star wars weekend so we were able to book a jedi dinner with mickey. I don't think I would do this restaurant again for any reason. We arrived and checked in outside. We were given a buzzer. Once that went off we were given a piece of paper and placed into a line outside. Then we were led in for our pics with mickey right inside the door. Then there was no one to seat us and we had to ask. She then sat us no problem. I think maybe she was overwhelmed. Our waiter was great. He cleared plates and brought drinks without us asking. he explained the path of the characters. We were the second table. We saw Minnie chip dale Donald all except goofy. Goofy skipped our whole section. Finally I asked if he would be coming before starting the other side of the room or if we'd have to cycle through again. Once they realized the whole section was missed they brought him over before heading to the other side. He missed 6 tables. The food was below average. I will say there were two things that stood out that I didn't see at other restaurants/buffets. There was tomato/mozzarella with balsamic and lobster/shrimp mac and cheese. Oh the also had a spice bbq meatball. Everything else was meh. Nothing special about desserts other than start wars themed names. I don't need to do it again at all. Enjoyed the characters without having to be in long lines but just average at best.

I find the MDE app/site is constantly down for technical difficulties. This makes it very frustrating for the guest trying to make reservations or a change to their itinerary. I have also found the WiFi in the parks and resorts to be excruciatingly slow, which adds to the frustration. The biggest issue is when Disney has a special promo (like free dining) going on. Then, you can forget about the site working at all, because it can't seem to handle the abundance of reservations trying to be made. Once Disney can work out all the kinks, things should be more effective.

I have taken Disney transportation too many times to count. Unfortunately, I have never found it to be very reliable. My most recent stay in Disney was June 6th to 12th. We stayed at POR and POFQ. The monorails were fine, no issues. However, the buses had very long wait times and were extremely crowded. I don't understand how it can be safe to horde guests into these buses like sardines. Twice, while waiting for buses to Epcot and AK, we left the bus stop (after waits close to a half hour) to take our car instead. DTD waits to and from were over 40 minutes. It is very difficult to make dining reservations when the buses are so unpredictable...

Stayed in a deluxe studio with our DVC points for five nights. The rooms are comparable in size to Wilderness at WDW, but do not have the pull down twin bed. Resort was very clean and staff was more than friendly and helpful.
Pool area did not impress. All three pools are right next to each other, which is different from the WDW DVC resorts that have a separate pool area for DVC Villas. Also the area seemed to lack any good theming. The pools didn't seem full, however, there were no loungers to be had. Every one of them were full with more than 50% just having towels laid across them. Not sure if people were saving or not, but got lucky and saw a couple leaving two chairs. My two kids were swimming and so they shared sitting on the extra lounger I nabbed when they did get out of the pool.
The WiFi was poor at best. Not that I used it alot, but when we were back in the room and I tried checking emails or using the internet, it was slow and sometimes would not load at all. My other negative point was that I was surprised to have to pay to do my laundry. I ran down to throw in a quick load without any money since the WDW DVC buildings all have free laundry facilities. I'm not sure why GC is any different.

Ate here with my family of four on 6/25 for the dinner buffet. Everything we ate tasted very good, however the selection was small. Carved turkey and roast beef, salmon, mashed potatoes, green beans, pizza, chicken nuggest, mac n cheese....just mixed greens for salad and also fresh fruit. The dessert selection was plentiful and also very tasty. Warm bread pudding was absolute wonderful with the vanilla creme sauce!
The wait staff was extremely attentive, which was a little surprising since we chose the buffet. Our waiter was particularly good with my teenagers, which won big points with me. We would definitely eat here again if we visit DL again.

Excellent food and the line moved quickly. The food came out pretty fast after ordering. My family ate lunch here on our first day (6/24/15) and opted to dine again for dinner on another day in DL. Daughter had the special combo of grilled cheese and tomato soup, son had the turkey sandwich (he said aioli was fabulous), and my husband and I both had the tuna on toasted sourdough. Everything was good. The house made chips are yummy too.
On our second meal there, my daughter had the Caprese, son had the turkey again and I had the BLT. Again, it was all tasty. We also shared one of the Diamond celebration cupcakes - lemon cake with berry filling. It was delicious. Tons of frosting, but we were sharing so it wasn't overwhelming sugar.
Pros:
Food was tastyCons:

I loved this tour and would absolutely do it again. It was, however, nearly unbearable in the summer heat, even starting at 7:15am in the morning. Our tour guide was an engineer himself and obviously LOVES his job. You get to hop on the train right after the morning hello show and go to the roundhouse. The roundhouse is where all the trains and monorails sleep for the night. 🙂 Great history of all the trains and how they got there. Go to a bathroom break BEFORE the tour, because there is no stop for a couple hours as you are backstage. Once you learn about all the safety checks that the trains go through each morning before they are allowed into service, you get back on the train to fill up with water at the Fantasyland Station. Then its back to Main Street Station and the Walt Disney / train history presentation. Did you know that the engineers in the engine car are only allowed to go around the world twice before they have to take a break, because it is 204degreesF in that engine! I thought my 11 year old son would like this better, but I think the summer heat did him in. Probably best not to do this tour in summer.
