I want to give it higher than a 7 but then I remember the ham and cheese sandwich that they tried to pass off as a croque monsieur. Waited in line outside for about half an hour. Ordering process was interesting. French onion soup was very good, sandwich was blah. Amazing dining rooms - we ate in the ballroom under the chandeliers. Beautiful. Would return but will order something else.
Pros:
Atmosphere, ordering process, theming and detailsCons:

First time eating here for lunch with Tables in Wonderland. I was pleasantly surprised. We had the melon and prosciutto app - small but very tasty. Not like domestic prosciutto. Husband and I split margherita and pepperoni pizzas - they were very good. 6 year old had spaghetti and meatballs and I swear they were the best meatballs I ever had - and my family owned an Italian restaurant for 63 years. Wonderful! Server was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and will certainly return.
Pros:
Kids meatballs were amazing, good food, nice serverCons:

I hadn't eaten here since I was a kid with my own parents. Husband, daughter and I ate here for lunch and it was very good. We were seated outside under a cover and it was great - good weather for outdoor seating. Server was friendly and gave us his recommendations. Husband had fish & chips which he enjoyed. Daughter had pasta with turkey meat sauce which she ate and butternut squash soup which she ate since I lied and told her it was carrot soup. I had cottage pie - wonderful. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert was not what I expected but very nice. Would highly recommend and will return.

On recommendations from this Board, I stopped here for a frozen chai and croissant while DD and DH went on Expedition Everest. It was very yummy. I sat on a bench and people watched while I ate my late breakfast. I hight recommend this spot!

First time eating here despite 40+ trips to WDW. Went on recommendation of a friend and we really enjoyed it. Server was SUPER FRIENDLY, maybe a little *too* friendly but if that is my only complaint, I think that's OK! I had chicken parm, husband had mushroom flatbread and kid had pasta. All enjoyed our meal. We had spaghetti and meatball cupcake for dessert - WOW! Awesome. We had Tables in Wonderland so we got a nice discount. I would certainly return.

I would love to give BLT a 10 but we did have one minor problem. Even with LEAK in our room and into the hall in front of our room, I love this resort and can't wait to stay here again. Our 2nd visit here was from 1/3-1/11/13. Amazing view even though I didn't request a MK view. Clean, friendly staff, good food, nice merchandise choices. I never experienced anyone trying to "get it" behind me anywhere in the resort. The new check in was amazing - I pulled up in front and the CM said my name! The leak was weird - not sure if it was the shower or air conditioner but it wasn't fully fixed during our stay but - so be it. Just a fantastic resort with great location. Can't recommend it enought.

My family really enjoyed this hotel. The check-in went fine and we got a room with a view of one of the savannahs. I think we were upgraded, we paid for the cheapest available. We had a studio with a fridge and balcony. We appreciated both. We could put the kids down and sit on the balcony until it was adult bedtime. And we stocked the fridge with soft drinks, milk, bread, etc that saved us some decent money over the course of a week. It is neat to see the various animals and using the night vision goggles was really special. I will say the animals you see are antelope, cattle and giraffe. One family was arguing that you can see lions from one side of the lodge. That's just not true and pretty ridiculous if you think about it. The pool is spectacular, we went three times with little kids, having life jackets for the younger ones is great. My kids are 4 and 2 and were intimidated by the slide. I suspect a boy older than 8 will find the slide pretty mundane. Having been to Africa myself I LOVED the theming. You feel like you're there with all the art and wood and so on. I liked everything about the hotel but the location, it's a long ride to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are very close. The wait for the buses could be up to 40 minutes and yes, they stop at Kidani first so there's a chance you might not all get to sit together. That said, this is a really nice resort.
Pros:
Theming of lodge, animals, pool, Boma breakfastCons:

We went for the first day of the Long Lost Friends Limited Time Magic. The characters included in it are- Robin Hood, Friar Tuck, Sheriff of Nottingham, and Prince John; Scrooge Mc Duck and Ludwig von Drake; The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf; Pinocchio, Geppetto, and Jiminy Crickett; and Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow. I was mainly there for the Robin Hood Characters. There are no times posted, however, after talking to the character handlers, the characters are out on the half hour, for a half hour (i.e. out at 10:30 and stay until 11:00). They are from park opening until 4pm. What was unfortunate, was if you were in line for Robin Hood, you pretty much weren't able to meet any other characters until the next meet and greet time. The lines were long enough, that you weren't able to make your way all the way through the line, before the music started to play and the characters were escorted away. We had to go back multiple times for photos. The characters also do not sign autographs, but the handlers have "Autograph cards" that they can give you. All of the characters are located in the Town Square area of Main Street. I was still pretty excited to see the characters that I haven't seen in years, and so were many of the people in line.
Pros:
Great Old CharactersCons:

This was probably our best meal in WDW over the last two years. Chef Mickey's has similar food but you have to elbow your way through crowds to get anything. The price is in the right range and drinks are included. I don't like getting nickel and dimed for everything. We had very good service, we ate on 1/17 so the crowds were very low. But that could lead to complacent servers as well which didn't happen. If we stay at Animal Kingdom again we'd certainly do this breakfast again. Maybe if we just go to the park.
