Review of Narcoossee's Waterfront Brunch

My husband, daughter (16), and I had brunch here on Sunday, October 23rd. This is one of our favorite WDW restaurants, so when they announced they would be serving brunch, I knew it was a "must do" on our next Disney vacation.
We had reservations at 930, and were seated immediately. It was our waitresses first day, and she was awesome (sorry, I can't remember her name).
My husband and I each had a mimosa and my daughter had a smoothie to start with a basket of pastries. For appetizers, we had shrimp and grits, the cheese board and a romaine salad. For entrees, we had the croque madame, and steak and eggs. The dessert was a trio of mini's, which consisted of: Valencia blood orange bar, triple chocolate cake, lemon blueberry timbale and a white chocolate Mickey. Everything was great, but my sandwich wasn't hot. That's why I couldn't give Narcoossees a 10 this time around...
The brunch was expensive, but worth every penny. I highly recommend.

Just returned from our 4th time at POFQ. Again it fit all our needs to a TEE. Even with the food court being refurbished it gave us the opportunity to explore at Riverside. Bus and boat wait times were minimal, appreciate the arrival time boards at the bus stop.

My husband, daughter (16) and I attended MNSSHP on Sunday, October 23rd. This was our first party since 2007, and it was exactly as I remembered. The crowds were low, and we walked on just about everything. Mine Train had a consistent 30 minute wait, but we had a FP for it, so we walked right on.
We came home with 3, gallon sized, Zip Lock bags full of candy (Dove bars, M&M's, Lifesaver gummies, Snickers, Skittles, Milky Way and Trix).
The parade was AWESOME and the fireworks spectacular!!!!

My husband, daughter (16) and I had breakfast here on Monday, October 24th. We enjoy a meal or 2 here every time we visit WDW. Again, everything was perfect, a true, hidden gem. I just can't say enough wonderful things about it...

My husband, daughter (16) and I were given a VERY magical surprise when we were unexpectedly upgraded to the Royal Palm concierge level during our recent 1 night stay Oct 23-24. Our room faced the 7 Seas Lagoon and Cinderella's Castle and was on the 4th floor of the main building. It was ready by 1130 am and couldn't have been more perfect.
The private lounge was beautiful and the food and drinks plentiful. We enjoyed snacks and high tea.
Concierge was AWESOME and helped get us a Mine Train FP to use before MNSSHP.
I am so appreciate of this very special gift. It made our 1 night in Disney absolutely perfect in every way.

We stayed here September 4-7. We were scheduled to remain at this resort until the 10th but we asked to be moved due to the bus stop situation and mousekeeping was severely lacking. By our 4th day the room had never been swept, and food was picked up such as cheerios and crackers after mousekeeping was here to collect a tip. We did get towels but very little shampoos. I did request a few bottles due to the fact that the 4 of us would be back to shower. I left a nice tip to let them know I appreciated their efforts and in return had to call down several times for soaps and towels once and to let them know the room had never been swept. We asked to be moved and we were moved and were able to enjoy the rest of our trip. I would love to be able to give this resort another chance but they really need to get some of these issues that have been posted time after time under control. I have no problem paying good money to stay but I expect good service not lacking service.

My wife and I just returned on 10/29/16 after a nine night stay at the POFQ. We came down to celebrate our 30th Anniversary and to meet with family and attend the parks. We stayed in building 7 with is as far north until you reach Riverside. The distance from the main building and bus courts were not a problem. Everything is relatively close in this resort. The walks were most enjoyable as we had such beautiful scenery. The resort exudes the atmosphere of old New Orleans. The substitute food court was very good, mostly breakfasts. Even though some mornings there were lines. They always would go fast and the staff was very helpful. We loved the pool area and took advantage of the hot tub to soothe our aching muscles from all the walking in the parks. The bus depot with the arrival board was most helpful and we loved taking the ferry to Disney Springs. We will be returning again soon!
Pros:

We were really looking forward to this meal since it was one of the highlights of our last trip two years ago. This time it was a complete let-down. Food options seemed to be greatly reduced and the food was just OK. Worst of all....no step sisters, who IMO were the highlight of the meal. We'all be skipping this one next trip.

We love this place! For one thing it’s open all the time and we always seem to end up there fairly late (like 9:00pm) but there is still always fresh, warm food. The pot roast, lasagna, and macaroni and cheese are excellent. We stay at the Boardwalk so it is a convenient walk. It's not fancy, but it's one of our favorites.
