Stayed for one night in August and spent 2 days at Disneyland. We were able to purchase our park tickets right at the hotel front desk, park the car and we were on our way to the parks. Very short walk accross the street to the parks. We would stay again next time. Very afforable. Not too fancy, but we only spent time in the room to sleep...did not even have time to try the pool.
Yes, I would recommend this hotel.
Pros:
afforable, clean, close walking distance to Disneyland.Cons:

Great service. We used them in December 2012 while staying at a deluxe villa. The delivery was on time, the prices were reasonable, there was ample selection, groceries arrived in good condition. The prices are a bit higher than my hometown grocery store, but in comparison to WDW, cheap prices. Next time we would buy more pop, even at the risk of having leftover, to avoid having to buy from resort the last couple of days of the trip. Nice feature is that you can also order beer and wine from them too. Just had to send them a photo of my ID to verify my age. Will definitely use them again.
Pros:
On time delivery. Order was exactly right.Cons:

This is always a favorite of my family. We, by tradition, eat here on our first and last days. The food was great, as usual. Family pleasers...salad, rolls, butter, turkey, beef, pork, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, dressing, gravy, veggies and dessert (cake and ice cream this time). All you can eat. Tons of food. Wait staff can be a little less than friendly but really I cannot complain...they kept the food and drinks coming. I didn't, however, realize that this was no longer character dining. Still doesn't change the fact that it is our family's favorite!

My wife and I ate here for Marathon weekend. I chose this place for the pasta as I was running the half the next day. Overall the food was good but portion size does not equal price. We did not use DDP since it was a short trip. The waiter seemed put off that I ordered water. The wife order a soda so maybe it was me. I would eat here again.

This is always one of our favorite dining experiences in the MK. My DH and I had reservation for 07:30pm on 02/21, we stopped in earler to see if we could get in any earler, but as always it was very busy. We waited about 15 minutes past our reservation time when we returned, the cast members seemed overwhelmed by the large crowd and several very unhappy walk in diners. We were escorted to our table, and then we were able to relax and enjoy the great food and a great server. We never felt rushed, she refilled drinks quickly and timed bringing the food to our table perfectly. We did not need refills as the first servings were more than enough for us. The food is very tasty, standard Thanksgiving type fare. We enjoyed all the food, and were surprised how moist all the meats were. All in all a great meal, sometimes it gets a little loud when busy, but it is a favorite spot for families due to the foods offered.
Pros:
great food, atmosphere, attentive serviceCons:

We moved to the Pop for 2 days from the Caribbean Beach due to an unplanned extra two days at WDW due to a snowstorm in the midwest. The Pop is the best of the value hotels, but the food court is always a challenges. Eating after returning from the parks in the evening was not so bad, but breakfast is a nightmare. Very crowded, hard to find a place to sit, spills and garbage that the cast members could no way keep up with. The food selections are varied, but our food was cold when we finally found a table as we waited in line for a long time to pay, and then walked around looking for a table. There is a microwave to reheat food. but fighting the crowds was not worth it. Much of the problem is caused by parents not watching their kids and by people not understanding the dining plan. The staff tries their best to be attentive, but the high ceilings, large crowds and large volume of children makes the court very noisy. Try to eat very early or late for breakfast to avoid the chaos.

We never miss the Flame Tree when visiting the AK. This time there was an even better feel to eating there. Extra cast memebers were stationed at the ordering counters to ask if there were questions about the menu, and to direct customers to seating and where to pick up condiments. The food was great as always, my DH enjoyed the salad, the rest of us enjoyed the Barbecued chicken meal. My DD asked for grapes instead of the cole slaw and beans, and it was gladly substituted. Make the effort to walk a little farther and sit by the water, it is very calming and you can watch the folks enjoying Expedition Everest! We never have trouble with the birds, just don't pay attention to them or feed them and they usuually leave you alone.

great food, relaxing seating areaCons:

We were waiting outside before buying tickets and a very nice couple approached us and offered us their tickets. They had gotten them for free as part of their resort package and were not going to use them. If we had paid for tickets, I would been really upset. It is very expensive and I don't think it was worth it at all.
We went on a couple of the simulator rides and they were just OK. We went on the Buzz Lightyear ride and it broke after just a few minutes. It seemed old and cheap, so I wasn't that surprised. I felt like the whole place had a cheap feel to it. The little picture booth was broken..you have to buy the pictures you make in the art room. $5 a picture. I just did not like it at all. My son enjoyed himself, but was not upset when I told him we had to leave. I won't return.

This was our first time dining here. It was a very positive experience. Our food was delicious and the service was very good. We were celebrating my son's birthday and they brought him the spaghetti and meatball cupcake with a candle. That was really nice and the cupcake was adorable and tasty too! We will be back with the whole family this summer.
