One of the better quick-service dining places in WDW, and a staple for those who like actual pizza and not the flatbreads they're replacing them with in other parks. The pizza is always good, as are the salads. Plenty to eat and reasonable prices.

Pros:

Good pizza, good salads, ample seating.

I stayed at Pop Century Oct 21-Oct 29 2013. I had a preferred room in the 60s section. I was saddened on how the resort went down hill in just a year. Our maid was never there until 4-5 PM I have never experienced that before. Usually my room has always been cleaned by 1 pm at the latest. I was shocked at how dirty band aids were in my bed when I first turned it down on the day of check in. The white blanket on day 3 was swapped out and replace by a dingy dirty looking blankets. I had 3 people in the room and only 2 towels were left. No shampoo or soap either. I had to call everyday for things and waited until as late as 10 PM to receive room basics. Upon check in I made sure my room had NO charging privileges. My express checkout was declined the day before we left and when I went down to the front desk to see what was going on I was told I had a bill to pay..HELLO my room had no charging. My lat name is Powell. I'm assuming it was another error because I received another Powell's grocery items at the beginning of the trip. A big chunk of my last evening there was spent arguing over a bill rather than being at the park. I love Disney but will never return to POP

Pros:

my room was ready at 815AM

Cons:

25th anniversary trip Oct 10-14...first time at CSR.
After getting off to a rocky start (online check-in was a slower line/service than non), we had an exceptional stay (buttons, balloons, toast certificate given at check-in). We were treated like royalty from all cast members.
Beautiful location (room upgrade?) in Casitas 4 poolside with lush landscape, fountains, and just-long-enough 5 min lakeside walk to El Centro.
Lakeside walks at night added to the romance of the resort--could even hear Fantasmic from Studios!
Pepper Market different, but manageable once you got in the flow. A lot of variety.
Maya Grill is fantastic...best food on property in the several restaurants we've tried! Boris provided excellent service and the live music added to the ambience.
Bus stop 2 (Casitas) was great after a day in parks. Waits were bearable, sometimes light, on days we departed from stop 1 (El Centro, last pick-up before the parks). Very nice surprise since Riverside buses were our previous reference point!
We'll be back with the kids next time! Can't wait to show them the Dig Site.

Pros:

Maya Grill; beautiful, lush setting

Cons:

online check-in

Review of Limited Time Magic - 2013 Celebration

The Haunted Horseshoe (at the Diamond Horseshoe) was thoroughly entertaining. The performers were all at the top of their game and interacted with the guests throughout the show -- everyone from adults to kids got involved. The cornball jokes were great fun, the singing was awesome (I really loved the harmonies of the Cadaver Dans) and the magician (Abner Cadaver) was hilarious!

The only drawback was that if you didn't see the snack/food bar prior to sitting down, it felt disruptive to get up to get something since the performers were walking amongst us (and I wanted to try one of the seasonal cupcakes).

Highly recommend.

Pros:

Entertaining and good for all ages

Cons:

Getting food was disruptive

I had a party of 10 with dinner reservations for 8:30pm. We arrived at 8 and weren't seated til 8:45pm because we were told they could not accommodate a party our size. It took at least thirty minutes and us talking to the manager before we were all seated together. Our served good she bought our drinks quickly and the food was ok. Not as good as our last visit. We had to send some food back because it was cold and even then it tasted old when we got it back. But that was only on two people's food. My only complaint would be the time it took them to get us seated together and that I ordered a second Hurricane and it never came.

Pros:

Good food & decent drinks

Cons:

Trouble with seating

We ate here a few days ago. My husband ordered the Pressed Turkey Club and I got the Caesar Wrap. We do this so we can split each and both try something different. Neither one of us cared for the Turkey club. It was decent but nothing to special. The Caesar wrap was really good it needed a little more dressing but was pretty good. The Minnie Carrot Cupcake needed more carrot.

We were waiting at least 15 mins before we got out food. That we though was just too long.

Pros:

Different than the typical QSR

Cons:

Wait time

For the price it was ok. Nothing I would rave about. We arrive at 10am well before the 3pm check in. But decided to try anyways to see if our rooms were ready. Well our friends' room was ready when we got there and so was my cousin's room. However my husband & I's room and my grandmother's room were both unavailable. So we were told that the rooms would be ready in the next hour or so and we would be notified via text or a phone call. We went and walked around Downtown Disney til about 4pm. We decided to go back to the hotel and were informed our room had been ready since about 11:30am. We were upset at not being called but oh well. Every time we went to the concierge desk or called to get info or reservations the person helping acted like we were out of line. The night before we checked out we went to the front desk (granted it was around midnight so maybe this one IS our fault) to pay the charges on our room and clear the bill. The man at the desk was sluggish and was acting like we were bothering him and he had better things to do than help us. So after my husband clears up the bill. I ask if there is a comment card I can fill out because one person made the trip wonderful. He asked if that was it or if I needed anything else. So I said yes I needed ten complaint cards for every day I had been there. When I said I wanted to make a complaint as well his whole attitude changed and he was now the friendliest person ever.

There was no fridge in the rooms. When we asked they said the fridges were recalled. Odd I was at the All Star Movies in March and no problems then. The cafeteria was closed and you had to go to the other all star resorts.

I'll definitely pay the extra money and stay at the Animal Kingdom or Polynesian IF I decided to go back.

price

I was at Epcot's Food & Wine Festival on October 14th. Eat to the Beat Concert Series was featuring Wilson Phillips that day. They were fantastic; after all these years. Had never seen them in concert before but always liked their music. Very inspiring and strong performers!

Pros:

Great Entertainment

Cons:

Shows not long enough

We had a great time at Kidani and plan on visiting again.
The staff was always helpful and friendly. The resort is beautiful, and relaxing. The views are unbelievable! We dined at both Kidani and Jambo restaurants and it's always an easy walk or van back and forth. We don't do DDP so didn't mind that there isn't a grab n go type of place at Kidani.

Pros:

Beautiful!

Review of Captain Cook's

We were staying at the Polynesian, so we ate breakfast here everyday and had lunch once.

For our lunch I had the pork nachos and a cupcake and my husband had a burger, fries and a cookie. The food was really good. The only negative was that the cake part of the cupcake was really dried out.

For our breakfasts, I tried the tonga toast one day - I didn't love it, but nothing was cooked incorrectly, I just didn't much care for it. I ordered a side of bacon one day that was WAY overcooked. My husband fell in love with the croissant breakfast sandwich and had that most every day. I had bagels/muffins the other days that were really good.

Pros:

Quick - easy to get in and out of
