What a perfect final meal before heading to the airport!!! Boma for Breakfast should NOT be missed! A wide range of delicious foods. Quite a variety that even met the needs of this vegan. Cast member Frank from Philly even ran to Jiko to get me some vegan "butter". The Jungle Juice was the best. Loved every minute!!!!

From the moment our name was called this meal was the BEST Disney dining experience ever! Everything was MAGICAL! Chef Harry even came out of the kitchen to speak with me to accomodate my vegan needs!!! Touring the restaurant after our meal & meeting with the Beast was a great finale! Can't wait to return!!!

I booked (2) rooms for our trip during food and wine festival. My husband, myself and our 3 adult children. It was our first family trip in many years. I picked POFQ because of the QQ beds. I loved the fan in the room, the double sinks so my daughter and I can get ready at the same time, the curtain that gives privacy when needed.
The resort is beautiful, the boats to DTD are a lot of fun.
The food court works, it's not a everyday kind of place, but great for on the go.
The one con for us were the buses. I'm not sure if it was just our bad luck, but each time, the stops included Riverside resort. Making all those stops at the other resort just to pack the bus to the brim just is frustrating.
Yes I would stay here again!

Ate here on Feb 18. Salsa and 3 dip appetizer was wonderful. Everyone's food was very good with no complaints.
I was surprised they did not carry any Hard Cider given it is available at other properties at WDW.
Also a little surprised that my beer (just one from Canada) was more expensive than one of the fancy cocktails they were pushing.

Trip week of Feb 17th, and had breakfast and other assorted meals/snacks here all week.
Tonga toast and Dole whip were favorites for me. My wife thought the Tonga toast was nothing special and opted for the croisant breakfast sandwich instead.
Went to Grand Floridian's Gasparilla Grill once and only then realized how good a system the LCD screen ordering is at the Poly. This was not working at Gasparilla and it took way longer for the food to be prepared.
Always fairly busy but not much wait. A few tables outside were always open and it was more pleasant and scenic than the inside seating.

Sorry to hear the last poster had significant issues. Looks like they may have worked out most of the bugs.
Received my second choice on location (Fiji) which was very good. Room, mousekeeping all very good with no issues at all.
Magicband worked no problem at room or paying for anything at Kona cafe or captain cooks.
Concierge was extremely helpful for my issues.
Biggest drawback was the walkway to the TTC is right along the contruction for the Vacation Club so there is a 6+ foot covered fence next to it. There are a few stretches which end up being fairly dark (one of the tiki lights is not working either). You may want to turn on your smart phone flashlight, at least my kids did. Heard no noise at all from the construction.

We stumbled upon this place and it was my favorite experience of the entire trip! This is the consummate tiki bar. It's dark, it's decor is floor-to-ceiling kitsch, its drinks are served in fun glasses and the whole place gets into the fun. It's an adult place that emphasizes FUN.
We ended up coming in twice, and each time it was really packed. The bartenders do a good job keeping up with the pace, though they don't have time to interact too much. That said, they are an integral part of the atmosphere. Order the Uh Oa! for the best "show"! The Shipwreck on the Rocks has the best souvenir glass, if you ask me. And the Krakatoa Punch was just great.
Get there early to get a seat (or they may have you wait outside). And be prepared for the take-home glassware to double the price of your libation. But other than that... enjoy!!!
Mahalo!!

After paying, the wait was horrendous. Not sure what was going on.
But, after we finally got our food, we were able to find a nice table on the water and enjoy it. Not bad at all, plus it was nice having several vegetarian options from which to choose.

Had lunch here 2/23. It was wonderful to escape the chaos and hubbub of Dapper Day in the park. The interior of the restaurant was nice and dark and quiet.
We checked in a little early but were seated fairly close to our reservation time, which was fine. The pager radius was large enough so that we could browse the nearby shops, which was nice.
I wouldn't say the service was bad, but we were a little rushed. We also were seated right near the kitchen doors, so it was noisier and brighter and more traffic-y than other area of the restaurant.
My husband had the special (salad with seafood), which was fine but a little skimpy. I had the vegetarian entree (mushroom), and it was really, REALLY heavy on the balsamic. Not quite inedible, but close to it.
I have fond memories of this restaurant from coming here as a wee lass, and it was pleasantly as I had remembered it. But I do wish the food quality and variety was a little better, especially for the price.
