This was our fifth time dining at the Artist Point Restaurant – it’s one of our favorites at WDW. In the past we’ve always had best food and experienced the best service of any restaurant at WDW. On this occasion the food fell a little short. Our ADR was for 5:30pm; we arrived at 5:25 and were seated in about 10 minutes.
My wife decided to get a salad and the Smokey mushroom soup, I opted to get the cedar planked salmon and save room for dessert. My wife’s salad and soup arrived at the same time – not a real big deal as the soup was smoking hot, so she are her salad as the soup cooled. My salmon arrived and looked great, unfortunately, it was very fishy tasting!! I’ve had the salmon on every occasion we’ve dined here, and loved it!! But this time I had to send it back and decided to just go with the mushroom soup and desert.
The rest of our meal was great as we had a great table with a really good view of the pool area and lake. Our server was excellent throughout our meal and handled my problem very professionally. We will still return in the future. Everyone has an off day occasionally.

Typical WDW food court. Selctions are many and food is pretty good, however, it can get very crowded so wither go early, or go late to avoid the crowds.

My wife and I had lunch at 50’s Prime Time on Monday, August 25, 2014. We were seated within 10 minutes of our ADR time. Our server was excellent throughout our meal and was a very funny guy. Our food arrived within five minutes of ordering. I got the fried chicken and my wife got an entree salad. My fried chicken was fabulous! It was crispy, juicy and very flavorful. It was a very large portion – half a chicken (thigh, leg, wing and a breast). My wife liked her salad very much and ate all of it. We also split a chocolate milk shake that was absolutely superb! They even divided it into two parts before bring it to the table. We are going back in September and we can’t wait!!

Back in May, we were selected for a fast-pass and pre-order “test†for lunch shortly after we made our resort reservations for this August trip. We pre-ordered our food and were given a choice of days and times for our meal. When we arrived, we entered to the fast-past line and only had about a ten minute wait before we entered the building. Our order was already in the system, and we were given the opportunity to make changes if we desired. We paid for our meal and then we began our hunt for a table. It took us a few minutes to find a table. Our food arrived about 15 minutes later and it was excellent. I had the pork dish and I loved it. My wife had a roast beef sandwich that was very large as she could not eat it all.
The theming of this restaurant is amazing. Disney went all out in their decoration and décor – it’s worth a visit just to see the different dining rooms. We can wait to go back

This was our first time staying at PO-Riverside – and we loved it. We only stayed one night while we waited to go on our cruise. Check-in was easy as we had checked-in online. If we had not, the regular line had 30+ people.
Our room was in building 95 on the ground level. It had two queen beds and a comfortable sitting area with a round table. The room is immaculately themed! This room was based on all the Disney Princesses, yet did not feel un-masculine. The headboards were animated with a fireworks show when you pushed a button on the side of the headboard. The lightshow was very cool; little kids would love it, as two 47 year olds did.
The grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and have lots of walking and biking trails. The main pool is large and well themed with a “Bayou†theme. There are several smaller “quiet†pools scattered around the property.
We’d love to come back to this lovely resort. It has become my wife’s favorite. It’s a great place for adults without kids, or families with several.

We were very disappointed with our dining experience on 8/25. The food was OK to very good but the service was terrible. We never received our drinks. When the waiter came with dinner we asked for the drinks again. The drinks never arrived. The other issue is my two sons both ordered pasta. After the waiter left my older son realized his mistake. My wife immediately flagged the waiter down to see if he could change his order to mozzarella balls. When dinner came both kids got mozzarella balls when one should have received pasta. The receipt was correct for one pasta dinner and one mozzarella ball dinner.

We stayed in a Little Mermaid room 8/23 through 8/31. I was concerned based upon other comments that room would not be big enough for two adults and two children. The room size was never an issue for us. I was disappointed we did not get the building we had requested through our travel agent. I am not sure why because the resort was not that busy. I was pleasantly surprised the room was ready when we arrived at 11:30 am. Pools were nice and well-guarded.
Mousekeeping kept the room clean but they kept throwing out our cups and did not leaving any new ones. This happened continually and became frustrating. I was sick and did not want to share cups with anyone.
There is no cell service once you enter your room.
Buses to the parks and downtown went well with one exception. While waiting to return to Epcot for dinner the wait was well over 30 minutes for a bus. That in itself is not horrible but we watched two buses arrive and depart for MK, AK, and downtown. Three buses for HS came and left in that same time.

We recently decided to venture away from our beloved royal palm club at the Grand Floridian(GF) because we had heard good things about Beach club(BC). We were pleasantly surprised! Although we would not say that BC is better than the GF's main building club level (with its grandeur, nightly big band music, and better food offerings), the BC is much less expensive, its proximity to Epcot is awesome, and a couple of its staff members made our trip simply delightful!
One day, Neil (concierge) was telling us about a particularly delicious dessert that they serve on Saturday nights. We told him that we had to leave Saturday morning, and several of the delicious desserts appeared in our room later that night! Sean was also a good friend to us while we were there and even posed for a selfie with our teenage daughter -lol. As for BC's location, the view of the water with the other Epcot resorts surrounding was very nice, and my husband really enjoyed his morning run through the world showcase at Epcot (opens at 11am). When we had had enough of the crowds at the park, we retreated to the beautiful sand bottom pool with its water slide and lazy river. The pool at Beach club is actually better than the pools at GF!
Although the club lounge at BC is small, the staff does a good job replenishing food and cleaning up tables. The food offerings were good, but not great. They did have boiled eggs at breakfast time, which some people like. They also have oatmeal, fruit, bread/toast and pastries. The coffee machine can be used all day and makes a decent latte or cappuccino. Although the coffee machine was different from the one at GF, BC still had a selection of flavored syrups like at GF. During the day, they had the usual chips with dip but no grilled veggies like at GF. They served a couple of warm appetizers and a selection of cheeses/bread along with wine /beer from 5-7pm, but it was a bit limited. As with all Disney club levels, you can ask for a glass of wine or beer anytime! This is one thing that makes club level worth the extra money! From 8-10pm, they served desserts and evening cordials. Again, it was limited, but nice. The magically appearing Oreo Bon Bons were the best desserts we had the entire trip.
Everything considered, our trip to BC was well worth the money. If based on the experience we had, we would rate BC club level at a 10, but based on the food offerings and small club lounge, we gave it an 8. Once the club level room renovations and club lounge expansion are completed, I would imagine BC would be hard to beat! Our best tip for staying club level anywhere at Disney.... Make friends with the staff, and they will make your trip amazing!

Another wonderful stay at SOG. Honored all my room requests for location. Took advantage of the 40%. Even w/o discount resort is a great value. Having stayed both on and off site I have to admit i really do like the laid back atmosphere here. It is nice to leave the parks and have a break from all that is Disney. Took friends with us and they could not get over how big the rooms were and how easy and comfortable the resort feels. Love the new buses. Bus drivers were awesome. Only down side we had was not being allowed to obtain fast-passes at 60 mark with rest of resorts. This is a Disney issue not SOG. Can't wait to get back.
