Loved this place. The only thing I have every got to eat here (which is every single time I visit Disney), is the Nachos! So filling (easily split between 2 people), and very tasty. We tried the little churros with the Caramel dip and they were outstanding. We love this little place. We just wish there was more seating. We tend to have to sit inside every time because the outside seating is always taken.

Food

We loved this place the couple times we went. The pizza was delicious and filling, and the salad was great as well. I had the veggie lasagna and it was soooo good. The desserts were superb! Not a place to pass on when visiting Epcot!

This is true Italy! Food was great, especially the desserts. We have had sandwiches, appetizers, coffees and desserts here, a lot, and it always delivers. Service is amazing as well; very welcoming place to go.

Wow! The desserts here are amazing!! From the Elephant Ears (my favorite) to the Neapolitan, this place can't make bad desserts! The only thing we did not enjoy was the sandwiches. They were not tasty and they sat in a case pre-made all day. Definitely recommend the desserts!!!

Pros:

Desserts!!

Cons:

Sandwiches

Review of Sci-Fi Dine-in Theatre Lunch/Dinner

We have been to this restaurant a lot, but the couple trips we took we decided to skip it. The atmosphere is great, and the experience of sitting in an old car in a drive-in theater was pretty cool. The food was the downside for us. During previous trips, we have had pretty much the whole menu, and we were not satisfied with anything. We found out about this restaurant from other Disney Traveler friends who loved this restaurant, but it just wasn't a restaurant we would return to eat.

Experience/Atmosphere

We were looking for a good quick service that had a variety of foods. We came across this restaurant. The food was really good. I had the Fried Shrimp platter which was outstanding and my traveling partner had the Asian Salad which was excellent. The seating was plentiful, inside and outside. We would go here again!

We ate at Jiko's on August 29, 2014. We try to always eat at Jiko because it's off the beaten path and tends to be quieter and very romantic. The food here is always amazing, this trip we started off with sharing the Crispy Duck rolls which are very good. The main course I had the filet with mac and cheese (can still specially request the mac and cheese it's not on the menu), and my fiancé had the lamb two ways. Both were cooked exactly how we wanted and were very tender. As for dessert we had the ice cream a variety are served in neat little cones, and the chocolate dessert which was rich and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant the service here is always top notch and we are treated really well.

food, service, atmosphere

Review of MagicBand

This was our first experience with the wristbands and it was totally positive. We custom ordered our bands and had them delivered prior to leaving on the trip. From the moment of check in to our last use, it all went ticket-boo:) And we put it to the test for everything!!!.....room key, meals, fast passes, charging privileges. How wonderful to have it all right there and never have to find the card and then put it away again.

Out of the whole week, there was only one wee glitch, where the band wouldn't read for a park entrance one day....but there are cast members on the spot to assist and it was taken care of immediately.

Loved it!!!!!!!

Pros:

no more fishing for cards!!!

Review of FastPass+ (Retired)

I have been to Disneyworld many, many times but our trip to the magic last week was our first experience with the wristbands & fastpass+....I was very apprehensive after reading all the negativity, but this reviewer was totally impressed.

I booked all the fast passes for our trip at the 60 day mark prior to leaving and what a relief it was to know that we no longer needed to be in the midst of the maddening crowd in order to rush to to popular rides such as Toy Story Midway Mania....our timing was already taken care of....

True, there is no way some attractions even remotely require a fast pass...but do your research and make the best of the choices.....for example, we set up our day at Epcot for an EMH morning...we had ridden Soarin' twice before 9am and then headed over to move right onto Test Track with our prebooked fast pass....cut out some major backtrack walking.

At the Magic Kingdom, we had our original 3 passes scheduled, then were able to book an additional 3 more during that same day. We were able to basically, register the pass timing, then head directly to the attraction and hop on....and these were all rides that had a posted wait of 30 to 45 minutes....bonus!!!

Some of the lines at the kiosks were a bit long, but the cast members staffing them were watchful to move things along and the waits were certainly nothing like the queues at some attractions...there was always staff available who were very helpful with the process..but for this non-techie, the system is incredibly user friendly...

The entire process was nothing but positive for us:)

pre planning organization

Review of Wild Africa Trek - Animal Kingdom

We two "60 something" ladies took this tour last week and it was amazing!. Our guides, Paola & Stephanie, did an incredible job. Safety is obviously their first priority and that overall feeling did a lot to help with some jitters regarding the unknown. The "up close and personal" aspect of the trek was more than special and the knowledge these two young women imparted was fascinating. They obviously love their work and did a great job of passing along their enthusiasm. I have done many, many backstage tours at Disney and this is one I would certainly consider repeating. Even the pouring rain couldn't put a damper on the experience ...thumbs up!!!!

Pros:

guides, knowledge, getting up close

Cons:

the rain
