Awesome time, truly awesome time. The lines for the rides are short, the characters are awesome, the candy is great.
HOWEVER......it gets annoying that disney keeps raising the price year after year.
If you've never done it give it a try, if you have they added nothing new, reduced the length of the parade and shortened the fireworks and they raised the price.
Pros:
Short lines, candy, characters.Cons:

Lines were a little long but not too bad I guess. The portions were good and the food was good. Nothing special but good. The fixings bar was awesome, mushrooms, pickles, cheese, etc.

My husband and I bought the premium package for the late night food and wine street party (or whatever it's called). Our package included the following for each of us -- a bottle of Chianti, a wine glass, a insulated gift bag, a box made of chocolate that held 4 truffles, a premium package lanyard and badge. I like the wine glasses better than the ones you could buy in the Festival Shop. The chocolates were pretty and tasty.
The premium lanyard and badge gave us roped off seating and "cut in line access" to several booths and were located throughout the festival. These areas were kind of hard to locate, but they were never busy and were well staffed.
The Thursday Night Street Party was really a lot of fun. You had to get your food/beverage lanyard for your free items from guest services. During the Thursday Night Party these lanyards allow you to get 6 free items from the booths that remained opened. You can use them for food or alcohol. If you use them wisely, you can recoup upwards of $75.00 of your money paid for the package back. For those who bought the $99.00 package, it makes it a really good deal.
The lines weren't long, and the staff was very friendly. There was great entertainment and different areas. There was a techno/dance area; a singer/songwriter area, and a bar type area.
We went for the first party and things went very smoothly, especially for the first night. I loved this and would definitely do it again. I think it was worth the money.

We have stayed at POFQ several times before, and chose it this time due to its smaller size as my DH has mobility issues. When we arrived, I again reminded the cast members of my request for a room that would require the least amount of walking. We were given a room in building 3 that technically is close to the food court, but the room was remotely located on the parking lot side and was a longer walk than we wanted and not very convenient. We returned to the check in desk to see if there was anything closer to busses and food court. The cast member checking us in seemed put off by our request, and said this room WAS close to everything. Other cast members manning the doors saw us struggling to get to our room, and said we needed to be closer. Eventually the cast member who checked us in called a supervisor and we were put in a well located room in building 4. The magic just was not there during our stay this time. The grounds were not as well kept as previously, our room was showing signs of wear and tear, and the selection of food in the food court was limited. The bus service turned out to be very efficient and we rarely had a long wait. Although the small size is good for choosing this resort, we may continue to try other resorts for our next visit.

small size, great transportationCons:

We use Garden Grocer every time we visit Disney. We mostly get breakfast foods like cereal, milk, juice, fruit and water. This time we were traveling with an infant so I had decided to also get all the baby's food from there too so we didn't have to bring it from home. Everything was great. We had our order waiting for us at the resort and everything was there. I had also gotten text messages saying that the order was delivered so I didn't have to worry all day if it was there or not.
This is a great option if you want to eat breakfast in your room and save a little money on at least one meal.
Pros:
very convenientCons:

My family (me, my husband, my two sons, 7 & 5, and my infant daughter) stayed here from Sept. 20-27th. This was our second stay at this resort. We loved it the first time and we still love it! We stayed in building 35 at Alligator Bayou. This was pretty far away from the main area but none of us really minded the walk and we had a bus stop fairly close. We also had a quiet pool right next to us so that was really convenient.
Our room was nice and clean. My 7 year old loved the pull down bed in the room and slept there every night.
The kids loved the main pool and went there just about every afternoon for a break from the parks and then they went in the quiet pool next to our room after we got back from the parks for the day.
The Riverside Mill is a great place to get something quick to eat. We did have to wait 15 minutes one night for a kids pizza but we weren't in any hurry so there was no worries. We didn't eat at Boatwright's this time around but it's nice that there is a sit-down restaurant at the resort.
The boat to Downtown Disney was very convenient too. Our first night we had reservations in Downtown Disney and we just hopped on the boat and took a nice, peaceful trip. That was a great way to get the kids acquainted with Disney.
The only complaint that I had was that we had requested a crib and when we got there we didn't have one. I called to request one and within an hour one was brought to us.
This is a great resort and we will probably stay here again in the future!
