My very favorite ride in WDW. I have rescheduled/postponed trips in the past when the ride was undergoing refurbmishment.
Pros:
Anything and everything. Fast, fun, entertaining.Cons:
Doesn't run when raining, messes up a good hair day.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 10/15/2019

Have been attending this party for over 10 years without ever missing a year. This time attended the Oct 4 party. The crowds were terrible. The long lines for candy were a headache to say the least and especially since after such a long wait you would get very litttle candy at each stop. You had to stop trick or treating to try to find a place on Main St to watch the fireworks and parade for at least an hour ahead of time, just as you do on regular nights. The whole purpose of this ticketed event is to provide some relieve from fighting crowds. However, not this year, I think it's bad enough to be an annual pass holder, yet have to pay such a high ticket price for this event, only to be disappointed in the quality of the event. Disney needs to rethink some of its planning in several areas in so far as the way they are planning these experiences for their guests. It has become a hassle instead of a pleasure to attend. I have been visiting Disney for over 30 years sometimes 8 times a year from out of state and I'm beginning to think that I might have to rethink renewing my annual pass much less paying for these extra events. It's beginning to become too much of a money hungry place instead of what dear old Walt had in mind originally, so sad!!!
Pros:
Characters fireworks musicCons:
Long wait times movement around park due to overcrowding expensive due to increase of tickets decrease in amount of candy givenReview of ABC Commissary

The Pot Roast was the BEST pot roast I’ve ever eaten! Delicious brown grave as well, ,and the crispy onion straws were a perfect enhancement. Well worth the price!

Quick service, less expensiveCons:

This was our first time attending and while it was great to see the costumes, the crowds were horrendous. We expected lower crowd levels and wait times based on this being a separate ticketed event which was definitely not the case. It was more crowded after the 7 p.m. start time then during regular park hours.
Pros:
Costumes and CandyCons:
Ridiculously crowded. Long wait times.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 10/13/2019

Miserable experience for our first Halloween party! Crowds were unbelievable -- wall to wall people. Daughter wanted to see Jasmine. Waited in line for over an hour and watched only 10 (or fewer) children meet Jasmine during her only 30-minute appearance. With lines so long, characters should meet children, take ONE picture per group and move on. Attempted no rides or other characters. Got 2 handfuls of candy after waiting in LONG lines. Sat an hour before parade to save spot. Left after parade. Waste of $300. Disappointed kiddo!
Pros:
Parade was good but had to stake out a spot an hour before the parade.Cons:

We stayed at the resort from 09/29/19 through 10/10/19. Our favorite resort and the one we original booked was Port Orleans French Quarters but a few days later our travel agent contacted us and said if we switched to Coronado Springs we would qualify for the free counter service meal plan being offered and there would only be a small upgrade price to the regular meal plan we always get. We figured it was a good deal so we took it. Before arriving I did my research and requested on the MDE app for a room on the third floor and in the Cabanas section. We were given a room on the second floor in the Ranchos section. I questioned this at check in and we were given a third floor room in the Ranchos section building 7B. On the fourth day after a long day in the parks we went back to our room only to discover that we were locked out, the door would not open for our magic bands or our iphones. We would get the green light but the door would not unlock. So back down to the car and over to the tower. When we arrived there was a huge line of guests waiting to check in. I got on line but as soon as an employee walked by I pulled them aside and explained our situation. The Manager, Michael, said there was a computer glitch and there was nothing we could have done to get in the room. He issued us a new card, 2 fasspasses each and $100.00 credit to our account. We were also told to recheck our magic bands to make sure they now worked. I must say that we were impressed how Michael handled the situation. A few days later we woke to the fact that we had no running water in the room. When I called the front desk and explained, I was put on hold for about five minutes when the operator came back on the line and asked me what I was hold for. Once again I explained that we had no running water in the room and was put on hold once again. This time when she came back on line she said that they were running a maintenance on the water line, she apologized and then hung up. I called back down to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager and was told they would have someone call me back. After a few minutes received a call back, when I asked if I was speaking to a manager I was told no but maybe they would be able to help. I said I was told that there was a maintenance being performed on the waterlines. I questioned why we were not informed in advance since this sounded like something that should have been scheduled. I was told that it had not been scheduled and they were unaware (sounded strange to me) but they would issue us 2 fastpasses each day for the rest of our stay. My husband said it felt like if you were not staying in the new tower that they didn't seem to care and would just issue fastpasses to the guests because it doesn't cost them anything to do that. In my opinion, if you are not staying in the newly built tower do not expect the Disney customer service of old.

We purchased tickets for four parties (09/29, 10/01, 10/03 and 10/08) months before the season pass was offered. So we started off with a bad taste in our mouths due to the amount of dollars loss. It just got worse from there. Three of the four parties were sold out. You do NOT ever want to attend a sold out party. I repeat "YOU DO NOT EVERY WANT TO ATTEND A SOLD OUT PARTY". There were more people in the park at the parties then there were during a normal hours day. The attractions had standby waits of 30 to 50 minutes. In my opinion attractions waits at a hard ticket event should never be longer than 20 minutes. If you go to the party for the attractions you will never be able to ride more than 5 or 6. At one party Space Mountain went down for a good portion of the night. The waits for the special characters can go into hours. Compared to the multi-night ticket we had for Universal's Halloween Horror nights with their express pass, we were able to go through all 10 of their houses and ride four rides in one night, while still being able to leave early, hit up Voodoo Donuts and avoid the major crowds at the end of the night. In fact we had thought about going to Halloween Horror Nights on one of the nights that we had paid for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, that's how disappointed we were. At this point I don't think we will ever attend another MNSSHP. Let me rephrase that "We will never attend another MNSSHP!"

This was our first stay at the campgrounds with our camper which we just bought in January 2019. We have taken it on week-long travel trips from Nashville to Virginia Beach as well as short weekend trips to state and national parks around TN and KY so we have experience now camping with 3 young boys and 2 golden-doodles. We thought it would be fun to camp here with our new camper and made the online reservations for the full hook up over 6 months in advance but it was not easy to get 6 consecutive nights even that early. I would recommend calling and making the reservation 1 year in advance if you know your dates and be generous if your not sure how long you wish to stay b/c you can cancel 5 days in advance without penalty. We got lucky and called 4 days in advance were able to extend our stay one more night but we would have liked 7 days. We were assigned a campsite in the 1700s which was off the main road but still near a busy road so you can hear road traffic which is why we gave our stay a 9. I would reserve a site further from even the side road to avoid hearing buses and golf carts running through the back of our site. We loved our stay and wished we hadn’t purchased the 4-park passes so we had more days at the campgrounds. We arrived on Sunday at 9:30am and were allowed to keep our camper in the overflow lot until our site was ready. We were texted within 30-45min that our site was ready. Check in is at 3pm and check out 11am. We rented a golf cart and were very lucky to get one b/c they were booked the last 2 days b/c October is a busy time of year for them and the campgrounds was booked of all sites and carts. I recommend they use small electric shuttles instead of large diesel buses to travel within the campgrounds to avoid large, loud and smoggy buses. The large ones aren’t usually filled. The kids loved the pool and arcade. I liked the grounds for running and biking. We reserved the Hoop Dee Doo revue the first night, first show which was delicious and service super friendly and patient with my family. We went to the sing a long with Chip & Dale to roast s’mores but didn’t stay for the movie b/c it was late and we needed to put the kids to bed so they would wake up early for the first park the next day. We visited each park M-Th and took Friday off to visit the lodge via ferry to watch the geyser there explode. We tried to reserve archery Sunday for Friday afternoon but it was full. We were placed on the waiting list which you can’t do over the phone but at the bike barn but unfortunately everyone showed. The attendant says the day before they had several cancel or no-shows.
Pros:
Clean, lots to do, friendly staff and community of campers.Cons:

Save your $$. Wall to wall and not limited. I know they say sold out but how many tickets are they selling?
The only positive was it seemed most people left after the 9 parade/firework show. But then park closes at 12. People running to get on rides. Why not stay open till 1 am?
Food was poor and limited. Long lines for rides, characters, and food. Just not worth it or what it used to be.
Way too many locals who are there to get there big group pictures taken. Parade locations were camped out with blankets and reserved way in advanced.
Not magical anymore.
Pros:
Haunted Mansion outside lighting, characters, fog. Pirates-live characters on ride. Lots of candyCons:
PACKED!- way too many people. Resort bus was slammed with adults in major costumes, getting in turnstiles was crazy, Main Street wall to wall. Lines- 1 1/2 to meet 7 dwarfs. Rides slammed. Food- limited places to eat. So Pecks Bills was over 40 minutes, food was sloppy & rushed. No bueno. Adults- this has turned into an fancy adult “look at me” costume instagram event. Not for kids.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 10/12/2019

I am currently stuck on a montarail as we speak I'm very disappointed with the Halloween party nothing was like it said it would be,they don't even have decent food available just chicken fingers and fries what an absolute waste of 244 dollars. Barely any candy and the staff didn't seem to know much about anything it was our first and last time
