The Polynesian Resort is the only hotel that my family have ever stayed in. From Webern my kids were 6-13. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Pros:
Easy of stay from food, drinks, and access to parks. We never even waited for the bus only 5 minutes.Cons:
Even though we register as 4 people in the room, we never get enough of all towels.i often had to call. We even tip!Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 12/10/2019

Loved every minute of it! Was debating on going and it definitely was worth it. I highly recommend to anyone. Although a lot of people say it's crowded, I highly disagree. Looking at wait times for rides the night of the party versus a normal night there is no comparison. We got right on every ride we wanted to, saw the parade from a perfect spot, and got to watch the fireworks from a great place in front of the castle. Of course at the main event times, people are gathered in to one spot so it looks crowded, but overall it's not! It's a blast to walk around and get the cookies and drinks also. We did not have any children with us so I can imagine that having kids in the park all day and then doing the party could be tiring!
Pros:
-ride lines were short -most magical fireworks ever -fantastic parade -low crowds -fun cookies and drinks to collect -everyone is in fun pajamas and holiday clothesCons:
IMO nothing! Maybe the cost?Review of Tusker House Lunch and Dinner Buffet

Tried Tusker House for the first time as part of the Rivers of Light seating package. I wanted to love my experience but unfortunately I just did not. I had read other reviews stating that there were choices for picky eaters given the international flair of Tusker House’s food options, but found that was not the case for some of my family members who ended up eating mashed potatoes and mac and cheese from the children’s buffet. I consider myself to be more of an adventurous eater who can handle spice, but many of the dishes I selected were on the overly spicy side. While I did not ‘hate’ this dining experience, there are many other dining choices I would make first before eating here again.
Pros:
Quick to get in and out, nice character interactions, helpful staff membersCons:

We attended MVMCP on Nov 21,2019. Fantastic. We arrived at 4 o'clock and were escorted in immediately through the backstage entrance, got our first treat and headed straight for the rides. We walked on to almost everything accept 7Dwarfs and Space Mtn witch were 20min. Treat lines moved fast and the Christmas spirit is all around. Can't be beat. If you love Christmas, come the week before Thanksgiving. All decorations are up and Disney Springs is in full Christmas mode.
Pros:
Manageable crowds, great atmossphereCons:

We went on 12/1/19 and paid $115 plus tax per person. Really crowded, we didn't feel it was worth it. Just to get in took almost an hour with security checks and admission lines and bracelets. Long lines for rides, characters and snacks. We were only able to do a couple of things. Snacks were very mediocre, like those cheap, stale cookies you buy at Wal-Mart. We couldn't even see the parade cause it was so crowded at 8:15, we only saw the tops of the floats. So we showed up an hour early for the second showing and were only able to get standing-up spots in the second row on Main Street. So we spent the whole second half of the party standing on Main Street and holding our spots for the parade and waiting for it. Our kids fell asleep right on the pavement while waiting. Earlier, we were able to eat in Tomorrowland and our little girl danced with reindeer, that was fun. Then we went to take pix with Jasmine and Genie, waited about 30 min or so, then got a couple of snacks, but missed all the shows/fireworks during that time. For the number of things we got done and the parade, it was definitely not worth what we paid. The parade was spectacular, but we thought it should have been included with regular day's admission, instead of gouging people and charging over $100 a person to see it during this "very merry party" which turned out not so merry for us. Disney either needs to give people more time for this "party" or sell fewer tickets, which they are not going to do cause of greed. So we will never be doing this again.
Pros:
Parade was wonderful, pretty snow on Main St, party-exclusive character meet-and-greet are great too.Cons:
Extremely crowded, can only do a couple of things, snacks don't taste that good, not worth the ticket cost.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 12/07/2019

We attended Mickeys Very Merry Christmas party on November 18,2019. (I have been to this party three other times in the last 10 years and have loved it each time.) We got into the park easily at 4pm. They moved the party crowd in very quickly and efficiently while allowing the regular park guests to exit .The lines are very long for the cookies and hot chocolate but move incredible fast. Not all the attractions or rides are open but most of the popular ones are. We were able to ride our favorites throughout the evening without a long wait time. I was glad to see the cast members checking for party wristbands as it is expensive to attend and many regular park guests were trying to stay in the park for the party. There is truly a different feel at the party versus regular park hours . The cast members are dressed festively and Main Street comes alive with the lights and snow. I highly recommend attending the second run of the parade as it is much less crowded .
If you can't decide if you should attend the party vs a regular park day consider this..... if you don't really care about the snow ,cookies, special parade or some of the special dance shows for the teens and kids then you will likely be happy with just attending the park during regular days and hours. If you only have one day for the Magic Kingdom then you will have more available to you during the regular hours but you will miss the party feel. It is truly a Christmas party as only Disney can do.
Pros:
Great Christmas Party feeling . Special parade. You can enter at 4 and it closes at 12 leaving you plenty of time in the park.Cons:
Everyone had the same idea on how to spend the time before the party began at 4... and that was to go to the Grand Floridian and look at the beautiful gingerbread house and decorations. The lobby of the hotel had many people just hanging around until closer to 4 and the lines for the monorail were the longest I've seen. They moved quickly but the lines were still long.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 12/07/2019

I highly recommend going. I wasn’t interested in meeting characters but it’s worth it for the short wait times alone, plus fun shows and festive atmosphere.
Pros:
A Frozen Wish is fun to watch and the fireworks were amazing! (We watched frozen Storybook Circus) We got on everything we wanted to with short lines abs the few cookies we got were great!Cons:

JUST saw Neil Patrick Harris who was excellent but the entire production is extremely professional from orchestra to the choru...AMAZING. We did the Candlelight Dinner (but lunch) and got in line 2 hours prior to show with great seats if you want to sit in the first few rows. Bucket List event for sure!
Pros:
Ambiance is awesome for this show. A must to see!Cons:

After trying to get into Liberty Tree Tavern and even Diamond Horseshoe for dinner without a reservation to no avail, we decided to reluctantly try Skipper Canteen, which didn't have too bad a wait. Are we glad we did! We had a special appetizer which was biscuits and some cheese sauce which was so delicious, and we each had the steak which was worlds beyond the steak I've had at Be Our Guest. The accompaniments with the steak were so flavorful and made it all the more better. Our waitress was very pleasant, friendly and down to earth, and of course dispensed with the Jungle Cruise style jokes, which I loved. We sat in the library area, which was quieter then the main room, decorated like it would fit into Animal Kingdom, although the restrooms are located through this room so there was foot traffic from that. Try to sit in this room or the room in the back with the parrot lights for a more peaceful dining experience. We will definitely be back!
Pros:
Excellent food, entertaining atmosphere, easier to get into without a reservationCons:

We have eaten here about 4 times previously for dinner, and have enjoyed it. We did notice a decline in quality the time before. This meal, we had the pork, which was cold, dry, and totally not worth the price. It's too bad, you can't beat the atmosphere, but the food has steadily declined in quality for dinner. I think the change to a prix-fix menu may have been the issue.
