The Golden Mickeys Walt Disney Theatre Disney Dream

INTRODUCTION

The Golden Mickeys celebrates Disney's history of animation with all the glitz and glamour of a classic awards show. On the Disney Dream the show has received a number of upgrades, both in technology and music selection. New production numbers include "Under the Sea" from "The Little Mermaid", featuring Ariel and her colorful ocean friends, "I See the Light", with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from "Tangled", and Belle and the Beast in a stylish ballroom waltz culminating in the Beast's transformation from "Beast" to "Prince".

This version of the show includes special appearances by Disney President and CEO Bob Iger, and Anika Noni Rose, the voice of Tiana.

The show is presented in the Walt Disney Theatre, which seats 1,340 guests. On board the Disney Dream the theater has both orchestra and balcony seating, and spans three decks. It is accessible from deck 3 forward (orchestra seating) or deck 4 forward (balcony seating). Consult the Daily Navigator for show times.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

The show is about 50 minutes long.

In the style of a real awards show, papparazzi with cameras photograph guests as they make their way down the red carpet towards the theater entrance. Show business maven "Rona Rivers" interviews some guests and these live interviews are shown on the big screens inside the theater.
