Pixar Fest, the Biggest Theme Park Celebration of Stories and Characters from Pixar Animation Studios, Comes to the Disneyland Resort April 13-Sept. 3, 2018
Posted onPixar Fest begins on April 13 and will continue through September 3. This celebration of Pixar and friendship will feature new entertainment offerings in both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, including the new "Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular" and an updated version of the "Pixar Play Parade" in Disneyland. The "Paint the Night Parade," with a few new elements, moves to Disney California Adventure. Pixar-themed food and beverage items will be available in both parks. AllEars.Net's Laura Gilbreath and Jeanine Yamanaka will be attending a media preview event this Thursday evening. Look for their tweets and upcoming blog entries.
Dining packages which will provide guests with access to special viewing areas for the "Paint the Night" parade at Disney California Adventure and the "Pixar Play Parade" at Disneyland, are now available.
The former Aladdin's Oasis will soon be transformed to The Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland's Adventureland. This new experience will be located between the Jungle Cruise and "Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room."
Lamplight Lounge will serve California casual gastro-pub cuisine that is playfully presented, along with unique signature cocktails and a guest-favorite: Lobster Nachos. The seaside lounge will contain a full bar with picturesque waterfront views of Paradise Bay from both upstairs and downstairs. At night, outdoor seating will provide views of the illuminated Pixar Pier and "World of Color."
Now at Disney California Adventure park, guests can welcome the king of Wakanda! For this limited-time experience, Black Panther will arrive in the Hollywood Backlot area of the park flanked by his Royal Guards, the Dora Milaje.
Pixar Pier Opens June 23, 2018

Rey, from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, will visit with guests at the Light Side character experience at Star Wars Launch Bay in Disneyland's Tomorrowland beginning this May, and continuing throughout the summer.
