SeaWorld’s 2016 Christmas Celebration sparkles with Rudolph, expanded Sea of Trees and return of Clyde and Seamore
Posted onSeaWorld Orlando kicked off its Christmas Celebration this past weekend with new characters Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and friends, new features added to its Sea of Trees light show and the return of Clyde and Seamore's Countdown to Christmas show. SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration takes place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through December 11 and then runs daily December 16 through 31.

Disney movie review: Moana takes audience on entertaining voyage
Posted onMy 12-year-old daughter had been anticipating this animated movie from Walt Disney Animation Studios since she heard about it more than a year ago. Not only does she like the Disney princesses but she also loves all things related to Hawaii. This seemed like the perfect marriage of her favorites.
But you don't have to have an interest in either, as in the case of my 14-year-old son, to thoroughly enjoy "Moana." That's because the story is engrossing and the animation breath-taking. Plus, much of the original music has been developed in collaboration with "Hamilton" composer and actor Lin-Manual Miranda.

New Amenities Coming to Disney’s Wildnerness Lodge
Posted onA sweeping re-imagination of the former Hidden Springs Pool area will help tell the richly layered backstory of the renamed Boulder Ridge Villas at the Wilderness Lodge. Depicted in the artist rendering and scheduled to open in summer 2017, Boulder Ridge Cove will feature an expanded sun deck and zero-depth-entry pool in what appears to have been an abandoned rock quarry.
