REVIEW: We're SO Sad This New Disney Springs Treat Is Only Around for a Limited Time

When it comes to Disney World snacks, there are so many to choose from, especially over in Disney Springs.

And we just found a limited-time treat, so we made sure to try it so you could decide if it should be added to your Disney must-try list. So let’s dive into the review and find out!

On our last visit to Disney Springs, we stopped by The Basket, a grab-and-go counter at the very popular Wine Bar George.

The Basket

We tried the Blueberry Thyme Tart for $10. This is made with a buttery puff pastry, blueberry filling, and thyme. This is a seasonal offering at The Basket. The outside was flaky and baked very well, while the inside was so gooey.

The blueberry was sweet and tart; however, the thyme flavor was not very prominent. Inside the tart their were whole pieces of blueberry that tasted very fresh. The buttery puff pastry was nice with a touch of saltiness that paired very well with the slightly bitter blueberry filling.

The icing on top also helped to balance the bitterness of the blueberry and was not overly sweet. This was definitely a messy treat, so if you try this one, make sure to grab lots of napkins. The pastry itself was very large, and we would recommend trying this one while it’s available.
