NEWS: Name Revealed For NEW Theme Park Attraction Opening In 2026

In case you missed it, I recently stopped by Efleling Parc in the Netherlands with my friend Quincy!

Quiny and I at Efteling!

Efteling is the third most visited theme park in Europe, but it might be one of the most whimsical and magical. During our time in the park, we fell in love with the food, rides, entertainment, and more. Now, I couldn’t be more excited because the theme park has finally confirmed even more information about the park’s NEW upcoming attractions.

In case you missed it, Efteling Parc announced 2 brand-new theme park attractions! They confirmed tons of new information about the rides, but they have finally shared the name of the other attraction. The new ride will be called Ravenring!

This new ride is a horizontally rotating wheel (WOW!) that visitors will take their seats in one of the 18 winged vehicles. Everyone over the age of four and taller than 1 meter (just over 3 feet) will be able to test out this “exciting flying ritual.” This ride will feature “smooth movements and tilts” that “create plenty of thrills and excitement.” Riders will be able to move the lever so they can decide how steeply their vehicle will fly.

The ride will be in the newly revamped area that’s opening at the end of 2026. According to Efteling, the Raveleijn area of the park will be “completely transformed with a new storyline, decor and impressive show effects, whilst the current main characters will remain part of the performance.” Koen Sanders, Efteling’s Director of Product, Market & Image, said, “By placing the new attraction outside the open-air arena, we are enlarging the themed area. The park show will undergo a complete transformation, meaning that it will be performed more often than ever before: several times a day and almost year-round. We are also choosing more environmentally friendly fire effects, which, combined with the improvements to the show, will create an even more spectacular experience for guests.”

In addition to Ravenring, Efteling also confirmed a new ride called Hooghmoed. This is a child-friendly drop tower attraction which opened on May 1st, 2026. The attraction, which is made up of three towers each measuring approximately 40 feet tall, is themed as a companion piece to its neighbor, the gold mine-themed dive coaster Baron 1898. According to the park, “the tall chimney of the gold smeltery must be cleaned regularly.”

Quincy and I absolutely fell in LOVE with this theme park during our stop by. The whimsical atmosphere, AMAZING food, and spectacular rides blew us away, and we have no doubt these new additions will make it even better. Be sure to keep following AllEars for more theme park news, updates, and more.
