Heading to Disney World soon? If so, you’re likely starting to think about all the things you need to pack. There are the obvious items like shoes, clothes, toiletry items, and, of course, your wallet. But it’s also important to consider your park bag.

At $43, this is a bit on the expensive side for an accessory, so we tested it out so we would know if it was worth the money before recommending it to you, and now we’re never going back to wearing a backpack without it. This thing is worth the price, especially if you are prone to getting a sweaty back! And in Florida, that’s a very common problem.
We noticed that the spacer definitely solves the problem of sweating under your backpack, and as a bonus, it provides support for your back. We had less sweat AND less soreness after a long day in the parks while wearing this. As long as you’re wearing your backpack properly (keeping the straps tightened, so the backpack sits on your back, not on your bum), the weight of the bag is distributed more evenly with the spacer.
If you’re used to wearing your straps looser, you might feel a bit uncomfortable with the spacer on. The straps do need to be nice and tight for it to fit properly and to help prevent back soreness. In general, this is important even without the spacer to help distribute the weight of a backpack, so if you’re used to wearing a backpack high and tight, this shouldn’t be an issue for you with the spacer.
