It Was Our DESTINY To Order Disney’s ‘Incredible’ Sundae

We are still pinching ourselves because we got to go aboard the Disney Destiny, where we had a heroic and villainous time (because that’s the ship’s theme).

We also really enjoyed checking out all the dining options, as well as visiting some of the snack spots on the ship. We even got to check out Edna À La Mode Sweets, where we had a pretty “incredible” treat.

Edna À La Mode Sweets is a sweet treat shop that is themed after Edna Mode’s lab in the short Auntie Edna. You’ll even see Edna in the shop with Baby Jack-Jack!

There’s one treat here, though, that we had to try: the Signature Sundae for $12.75. It’s three scoops of ice cream (your choice), five toppings (again, your choice), whipped cream, and a cherry served in a take home souvenir Incredibles car that has wheels that look like cookies.

The hardest part of getting the sundae is deciding what ice cream flavors and toppings to get. There are SO many flavors available, but in the end, we chose gelato: raspberry macaron, lemon blueberry, and unicorn vanilla (which is vanilla, but with pink and purple swirls, but it’s fun). For toppings, we got some sprinkles, waffle cone pieces, white chocolate pieces, strawberry combo compote, and mini marshmallows. 

The gelato was delicious, and we were quite happy with our flavor choices because we got a whole fruity thing happening mixed with vanilla. The lemon blueberry is a lemon gelato with blueberry compote in it — we loved how natural the flavors tasted. The raspberry macaron, though, had some weird textures happening because the macarons are so chewy, but the gelato was tasty. There’s also this cute white chocolate piece in it.

Needless to say, this HUGE sundae is shareable, so you might want to ask for two spoons. What’s also cool is that you can order it earlier in the day and have it delivered during your rotational dining that evening for dessert, which would be great if you’re celebrating something.
