2026 DATES CONFIRMED for a MAJOR Disney News Event — the D23 Expo

The biggest Disney fan event in the world is coming BACK once again!

The D23 Expo is coming back to Anaheim in 2026, and this ultimate Disney fan event is sure to deliver on some amazing behind-the-scenes and exclusive looks at upcoming Disney projects. We know the official dates, and we’re here to share them with you!

We are at the Coronado Springs Resort for the Destination D23 event, and it has been delivering on some amazing news. Michael Vargo, the head of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, kicked off the festivities and revealed a number of exciting programming offerings D23 Members can look forward to over the coming year, including the return of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event!

The Expo will return to Anaheim, California, in 2026, and take place on August 14th, 15th, and 16th. Michael Vargo also shared the news that Disney Legend Jodi Benson will be the first official D23 FAN-bassador, engaging with fans and making appearances with D23 throughout the year, leading up to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in August 2026.

“D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event offers fans from around the globe a chance to experience the very best in storytelling and innovation in a way that only Disney can deliver,” exclaimed Michael Vargo. “We are already hard at work dreaming up ways to continue raising the bar for Disney fans next year when we return to Anaheim, and we can’t wait to bring them a truly unforgettable event.”

We went to the Expo in 2024, where it was reimagined to be more expansive and immersive than it had ever been in previous years. Disney will ride that train in 2026, as the highly anticipated event will again be held at both the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center. At the Expo, fans can be among the first to hear exciting announcements during marquee showcases and presentations. They can also look forward to immersive experiences, exclusive shopping opportunities, and more throughout the week leading up to the event. Yes, that includes the return of D23 Day at Disneyland!

Tickets for the event will gon on sale in the Spring of 2026. We’re so excited for the fan event! It’s been great in previous years, and last year may have been the biggest one yet. We’ll have to see if they can top it next year. For more Disney news and updates, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars.
