How Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Will Be Different in 2025

Picture this: you’re sipping on hot chocolate and munching on a cookie while waiting for one of the most magical parades filled with all of your favorite characters wearing Christmas outfits to come down Main Street, where it is starting to snow. That is the magic of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

Every year, we go to this fun after-hours event and bring you all the details so you can have the best night possible. Disney has started releasing details for the 2025 parties, and let’s see what’s different from the previous years.

What’s coming to the 2025 Christmas parties? Lots of favorites!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will be back, and if you haven’t seen them, make sure they’re on your priority list.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, the stage show in front of the castle, and Frozen Holiday Surprise will also be returning. There’s so much entertainment to see!

Dance parties and character meet and greets will be available during the party, but what about the new things coming?

Well, there’s not a lot of new experiences coming to the party!

From what Disney has released so far (and remember, they can always decide to change and add things that they want), there are no new entertainment offerings.

The character meet-and-greets that have been announced are familiar faces from the past few years. For Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Jack and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas are getting an updated look, so we hope this look is coming to Very Merry, as well.

There is one thing that usually happens every year — NEW FOOD! While there are usually returning favorites, we love trying brand-new snacks each year. For 2024, there were over 30 new items!

We obsessed over the Gingerbread Milk Shake and the Holiday Dinner Hot Dog last year, and we’re so ready to find out what’s coming this year. Last year, we learned about new food around the end of October, and the parties started in early November.

This year, the parties run from November 7th to December 21st.
