Happy Halloween…in June! It’s never too early to start thinking about the spooky fall season at Disneyland Resort. We’ve got costumes to plan, candy to collect, and characters to meet — all before October 31st, 2025!

Luckily, Disney doesn’t waste any time rolling out its seasonal festivities. Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will take place from August 22nd through October 31st, 2025. Both NEW and returning Halloween fun is set to hit the parks this year, but now, we’re here to talk about one of our FAVORITE new additions!
Let’s start with the basics. Disney confirmed that the beloved Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction overlay is returning from August 22nd through January 7th, 2026. We also know that Disney’s signature decoration elements, like glowing orange lighting, fall bunting, leaves, and PUMPKINS, will once again materialize this year.

Of course, one of our favorite things to do at Disneyland Resort is meet Mickey and Minnie — they go ALL OUT for the season. This year, Disney just confirmed that Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and friends will debut NEW fall looks when Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort returns.

How cute! Mickey and Minnie Mouse are all decked out in bright new looks, complete with spooky hats and a swirling color palette of purple, green, and orange. Disney explained that the outfits are a “twist on their 70th Celebration outfits.” (Don’t forget — Disneyland is in the middle of its 70th Anniversary celebration, too!)

Now, let’s pop over to Disney California Adventure for MORE news! Over at the Disney Theater, Mickey Mouse and his pals are dressing up to celebrate Halloween in “Mickey’s Trick and Treat”! We love to see all the creative costumes Mcikey and his friends try out each Halloween.

Disney confirmed that this interactive show will temporarily replace “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” during the fall season. The best part? You get to take home a special treat!

There is SO MUCH more to tell you about, so stay tuned for more details!
