Target just dropped a brand-new board game for pre-order that test your dark side. Think you have what it takes to rule the galaxy? Check out what Target has!
Take a look at this Star Wars Villainous: Cold Tactics Board Game by Ravensburger! It’s the newest expandalone in Ravensburger’s Star Wars Villainous line, and now it’s available for pre-order on Target’s website.
The board game introduces Grand Admiral Thrawn and Count Dooku for the first time to the Star Wars board games franchise. In this game, players will work towards their own evil objectives through unique and immersive gameplay that is inspired by their character’s motivations and stories as portrayed throughout the Star Wars galaxy.
Players who choose to take on the challenge of being Count Dooku will need to take charge and lead the Separatist Movement, bringing an end to the Galactic Republic and the Jedi for good. Count Dooku will need to convince an organization just how powerful he really can be. Defeat the Jedi to intimidate neutral organizations into active organizations at each location to fulfill his objective and stand alongside Darth Sidious as the true power of the galaxy!
Players who choose to play as Grand Admiral Thrawn will have to be efficient and unforgiving in their mission to take over the galaxy and control planets in the name of the Empire. To win, they must operate strategically in Thrawn’s sector, occupying each location by collecting artifacts, deploying the 7th Fleet, and using ambition to flip the location over.
The game will officially release in stores on August 1st, 2025. There will be an exclusive version of the game that will only be sold at Target — which will include an exclusive sleeve and Grand Admiral Thrawn mover, featuring a pearlescent finish.
