People of all ages head to Disneyland for vacations, and that means you’re likely to see a lot of different attire!

From matching family outfits to Disneybound outfits to regular everyday attire that most locals will often sometimes choose to wear, everyone has something they prefer to wear. Sometimes though, we notice that certain age groups have a similar style, and we couldn’t help but notice that the baby boomer generation typically wears these essentials in Disneyland!
If it’s chilly outside, you’ll notice men often wearing a nice button-down to the park, such as a Tommy Bahama branded one, OR if it’s warmer, many of them dress up nicely in a Polo Shirt.

Many older adults were at Disneyland when it opened or went within the first decade or so, and back then, lots of people dressed up relatively nice to head to the parks, so many of them prefer to continue that tradition.
As for the bottoms, sticking with the “dressing nice” theme, many men also wear Khakis, either the shorts or long-pant versions!

For men, these often go with almost any shirt, and can easily dress up an outfit, making it ideal for those looking to look their best.
Shoes are very important for all ages, but especially for older adults who may need some more support while they’re walking miles and miles. For this reason, we highly recommend Orthopedic Shoes.

These are more supportive in the structure of the shoes, making it much easier to walk long distances. Honestly, a lot of young members of our team use them too and love them — so don’t knock it until you try it!
Many older adults also have glasses to help them see. For that reason, having a Glasses Lanyard is a must.

No one wants to lose their glasses on vacation, so honestly this is a helpful tool for everyone! We just notice older adults wearing them the most.
Sometimes it gets chilly in the park, and we’ve noticed that older women love to slip on a good Cardigan!

Often these are neutral colors like brown, back, beige, or gray, as those go with almost any outfit. The catch is that it can’t be too heavy, or too light — it has to be just right!
And lastly, some individuals, specifically those who paid for this massive vacation, might be wearing a “Most Expensive Day Ever” Shirt.

We see these all the time on multiple different ages of parents and grandparents, but we’ll be honest, we see a LOT of them on boomer adults in Disneyland.
We’re always here to help you find the essentials for your next trip, so stay tuned to AllEars!
