NEWS: Opening Timeline Revealed for Porto’s Bakery in Downtown Disney

Downtown Disney has been undergoing a lot of change recently!

This dining and shopping district located at Disneyland Resort has welcomed lots of new restaurants recently, and we just got confirmation on an opening timeline for another new restaurant!

There have been lots of new restaurants opening in Downtown Disney including Din Tai Fung, Centrico, Paseo, and Tiendita. Parkside Market is still on the way as well. That is not all though, as Porto’s Bakery is also opening a location in Downtown Disney and we just got news about the opening timeline.

We recently learned more about when to expect Porto’s Bakery’s seventh location. The new location in Downtown Disney is set to begin construction in 2025, according to the company.

No exact date, unfortunately, but we guess it kind of narrows down the opening date. We now know we will have to wait for at least a few more months before we can try out Porto’s Bakery in Downtown Disney.

However, if you are in the Disneyland area and really want to try Porto’s Bakery, they have six locations across Southern California, so you can check them out before they officially open in Downtown Disney.

Porto’s Bakery is known for its Cuban pastries and dishes including their famous Potato Balls®, Cheese Rolls®, cakes, and international sweet and savory treats. Across the six locations, Porto’s Bakery serves more than 2 million guests a month! We are excited for Porto’s Bakery to open in Downtown Disney in 2025.
