Packing for a Disney trip can be a pain, but we’re here to help!

Visiting Disneyland is a blast, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a breeze. We can be found at the Disneyland Resort every week, so packing for the perfect Disney day is second nature to us. However, we’ve made our fair share of packing mistakes and we’re going to make sure you don’t make the same ones!
We’ve come up with nine things (all found on Amazon) you’ll regret not bringing with you to The Happiest Place on Earth — so without further ado, let’s jump in!
Despite being located in a Mediterranean climate and the desert of Southern California, a day at Disneyland is not always warm.

The winter and spring can still be a bit chilly in Southern California, especially in the evenings. While freezing temperatures are uncommon, it doesn’t hurt to bring a light sweater like this Vintage Mickey Mouse sweater, especially if you plan on staying at the parks late into the night.
Speaking of long park days, Disney days have largely gone digital with a heavy reliance on phone and app usage. Disneyland is no exception and it’s likely you could be on your phone quite a bit.

FuelRod portable chargers are our go-to chargers mostly in part because Disneyland and other Disney Parks feature kiosks where you swap out your empty charger for a fully-charged new one. These chargers can also be recharged and this particular set on Amazon comes in a 2-pack.
Disneyland isn’t just home to some incredible rides — it’s also a hotspot for finding a plethora of Disney characters!
With that in mind, if your goal is to meet as many characters as possible, you can’t forget your autograph book! This one on Amazon would be an excellent choice if you’re in the market for one under $10.
As we previously mentioned, Disneyland is technically in a desert-like climate so it can get pretty dry.

It’s never a bad idea to moisturize, as your skin can get dry quickly during a Disney day. Something like this OUAI Hand Cream (a thick balm with coconut oil, murumuru butter, and shea butter) can help keep your skin happy when the weather is particularly arid.
Not only can it get dry, but Disneyland is also famous for its sunshine. Typically featuring clear skies without much shade, the need for sunglasses at Disneyland is prevalent.

Sunglasses like these SOJOS Oversized Round Sunglasses for Men and Women can provide protection from the sun why giving you that stylish edge. This particular pair can be found on Amazon in nine different colors/patterns. Be sure to pair these with sunscreen and/or a hat!
Sticking with the theme of protection against the sun and heat, it’s important to stay hydrated, and bringing your own water bottle is a great idea.

Something like this Owala Stainless Steel Water Bottle is a great alternative to buying a drink every time you’re thirsty at the parks. This particular bottle holds 24 ounces (also comes in 16oz, 32oz, and 40oz), comes in 22 different colors, is insulated, and has a straw.
One of the most important things you can wear to a theme park — Disneyland included — is a pair of comfy shoes!

We’ve recommended shoes like these Hoka One One Women’s Sneakers in the past because we can’t stress enough how important footwear is during a Disney vacation. You WILL do a lot of walking, even at the small Disneyland Resort. Be kind to your feet and wear super comfy shoes.
While Disneyland isn’t known for its rain, it still does have a few water rides that could drench you!

While not mandatory, if you plan on riding something like Grizzly River Run of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, reusable rain ponchos may be a wise investment. We’re embarrassed to admit that we’ve had to replace entire outfits simply because we didn’t wear a poncho on the now-replaced Splash Mountain.
Finally, if you’re going to Disneyland and you’re prone to motion sickness, you need to plan ahead.

Dramamine and other motion sickness aids can save a trip. Worrying less about getting dizzy or feeling ill after an intense ride or attraction only enhances your Disneyland experience. If you think you may need Dramamine, don’t forget to pack it before you head to the parks!
And there you have it! As always, stay tuned right here at AllEars for the latest Disneyland tips, news, reviews, and more!
