We may only be in the middle of June, but Disneyland Resort is already thinking about the holiday season.
Festival of Holidays is expected to return to Disneyland Resort this fall, and we just found a huge hint about the event. And it may be a sign that we may be getting some more news soon!
The Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park celebrates holiday traditions from around the world with music, food, and entertainment. The Festival of Holidays is scheduled to return in fall 2024, and we just got more confirmation about the event!
A casting call was just posted on Disney Auditions for “Contracted Acts for a Holiday Festival at the Disneyland Resort.” Disneyland Resort is looking for a variety of pre-established, self-contained acts to help celebrate the story of a variety of cultural holidays. Some examples of the holidays include Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, and Diwali.
Performers must submit for the audition by June 18th, 2024 at 11:59PM, and auditions will take place at the end of June through July. The audition description is pretty vague, so it is likely that Disneyland Resort is seeking a wide variety of performers.
In previous year’s we have seen entertainment offerings such as Blue13 Dance Company’s Bollywood dancing to celebrate Diwali, the Mostly Kosher band that honors Hanukkah, or The Mistletoes acapella group that celebrates Kwanza.
There has been lots of entertainment options in past years, so we are excited to see what is in store for Festival of Holidays this year. Last year, Disney announced the dates for Festival of Holidays at the beginning of August. The festival ran from November 10th, 2023 through January 7th, 2024. We are on the lookout for any Festival of Holidays news, and we will be sure to keep you updated.
