BIG Update On The New Harry Potter Land Coming To Universals' New Epic Universe Park

Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe is going to be…well…epic.

The third Universal Orlando park will be a massive expansion that could include lands dedicated to How To Train Your Dragon, classic Universal Monsters, Super Nintendo World(confirmed), and more. However, what might be the MOST exciting thing is that a NEW Harry Potter-themed land could potentially make its way to the park and now, we’ve got a few updates to share about it.

Once again, @bioreconstruct on Twitter/X has come through with some amazing aerial photos of Epic Universe, including some photos of how construction is going with the new Harry Potter land, which seems to be coming along nicely. The land will likely be based in Paris, which we saw in the Fantastic Beasts movies. It appears to be more of an abstract theme than Universal’s existing two Harry Potter lands at its other theme parks.

Here, you can see how five Parisian streets intersect in the new land and how the buildings are progressing with classic Parisian architecture.

The new land could also include a large theater show in a circus tent similar to what we saw in the Fantastic Beasts movies, and there are even rumors that there will be wand duels and audience interaction. Guests might even get to see some magical creatures up close that will respond to interactive wands.

Speculation is that one of the land’s main attractions will be inside the British Ministry of Magic, though. The idea is that guests will be transported from Paris to London via the Floo Network and then whisked off into magic elevators to go on a new adventure.

Although a VR attraction was originally planned for the land in the French Ministry of Magic, that ride has since been dropped, although its building is being set aside for a future expansion. Universal is continuing to work on the land and the Epic Universe park.

We still have to wait until 2025 for Epic Universe to open, but we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates.
