Disney Reveals Cast Member Costumes for NEW ‘Frozen’ Land!

We are so thrilled that World of Frozen opens in Hong Kong Disneyland soon!

We’ve been following along closely with all the latest news coming out of this new land so you know what to expect when you visit, and now we have a look at the new costumes the Cast Members will be wearing!

These costumes have been brought to life by Hong Kong Disneyland Manager of Costuming Eva Chan and Senior Costumer Angel Sin. Over in Arendelle, the costumes are inspired by traditional Norwegian bunads; some of these costume pieces are not only reversible but are also interchangeable with many different costume pieces so that Cast Members can customize their outfits!

In the village, costumes have rosemaling embroidery thanks to inspiration from Scandinavian Viking heritage and European baroque and rococo styles. However, over in Arendelle Forest, Cast Members’ costumes are inspired by Oaken’s style, with sweaters paired with cropped breeches and suspenders.

However, since the weather is typically humid in Hong Kong, these costumes are made from light and moisture-wicking fabrics to keep Cast Members comfortable. Oh, and there are even themed raincoats and water bottle covers!
