Update on a Permanently CLOSED Store in Disney Springs

Disney Springs is CHANGING.

We’ve already seen this shopping and dining district change a lot over the last few years, and we know that the NEW Summer House on the Lake restaurant will be opening here at some point in 2023. But something else could also be coming to this area soon.

The UGG store has CLOSED in Disney Springs. Though this closure happened a little bit ago, we did want to highlight it in case you haven’t been there for a while or it’s something you haven’t noticed.

One sign on a door for this store now says “Please pardon our appearance” (a typical sign you see with Disney construction), while another says “Something new is coming soon.”

We spoke with a Cast Member at Guest Relations in Disney Springs who indicated that the store is in fact PERMANENTLY closed, but they shared that they are not sure what will replace it yet. If the sign on the store is any indication, however, it seems something new could be coming soon!

As a general update, the Uno de 50 store is also under construction and has been for a while. The Cast Member we spoke to said that this is just a refurbishment, however, as opposed to a permanent closure. Though signs previously said the store would reopen in the spring of 2023, the Cast Member we spoke to said it is expected to reopen sometime in the summer. We’ll be on the lookout for updates.
