How You Can Get a FREE Disney Collectible Today!

Today (December 16th) is the official premiere date of Avatar: The Way of Water!

There has been a lot of anticipation surrounding this film, considering the last Avatar film came out over a decade ago! We’ve already shared about the NEW Avatar experience that has been added to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But some Disney guests are getting an extra special surprise today in celebration of the new James Cameron film!

It’s can be a rarity to see the word “free” when used in the same sentence as “Disney,” but this time it’s for real! As we walked into Disneyland Park today in California, we saw that there were baskets filled with free Avatar: The Way of Water souvenirs!

We were able to snag one of these collectibles, which is a button featuring a poster for the film. The back has a button closure, so you can add this to your backpack or general collection!

A closer look

On the poster, you can see several of the main characters including Jake and Neytiri above a flying scene, along with the words “Disneyland Celebrates Avatar: The Way of Water.” Our team members out at Disney World didn’t find this unique collectible, so it seems to be something mainly available at Disney World (from what we’ve seen).
