You Can Own an Iconic ‘Star Wars’ Movie Prop…But It’ll COST You

Star Wars fans, have you ever wished you could own an iconic piece of Star Wars history?

Sure, you can build your own lightsabers in the parks now, and there’s plenty of merchandise you can grab, and we’ve seen Star Wars memorabilia be auctioned off before. The time has come again for another famous prop to be auctioned off — Han Solo’s Blaster.

According to the Rock Island Auction Company, Han Solo’s “blaster pistol” from the original Star Wars films, first seen in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, is up for auction.

Firearm auction business Rock Island Auction Company is calling the blaster “The Only Surviving ‘DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol,'” and is expected to sell for between $300,000-$500,000. The auction winner will also receive a Han Solo photograph signed by Harrison Ford himself. The auction date for this item is August 27th, 2022.
