The holidays may be over, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop hunting down festive mugs!
Plus, it’s uncharacteristically cold in Disney World right now, so we still need something to hold our hot drinks! Whether it’s fancy 50th Anniversary mugs, diabolical villain mugs, or a special edition Monsters mug, we’re all about cups with handles with Disney characters on them! We just found another holiday mug in the parks that celebrates an obscure Star Wars Holiday!
If you celebrate Life Day (Star Wars Christmas), then you’ll want to check out this Starbucks mug that just arrived in Disney World!
These mugs are red on the inside, and the beige outside has a picture of Chewbacca in his Life Day regalia in front of the Millennium Falcon! Okay, so Chewbacca isn’t actually in a dress, but he’s in his traditional Life Day holiday robes!
The inside of the mug says, “Family, Joy, Harmony…”
… and the back has the Starbucks logo on it!
Life Day is the holiday that Chewbacca’s family celebrates in the infamously horrible Star Wars Holiday Special. (Seriously, this thing is hard to watch, and is 2 hours long. Save yourself and just look up the Boba Fett scene on YouTube, it’s his first official appearance in Star Wars!)
Regardless of the quality of the holiday special that inspired this mug, we love all things Chewy! We found this at Port of Entry for $19.99. This mug is the perfect piece for the obscure Star Wars collector, and even though the special isn’t Oscar-worthy, we’re glad it’s getting some recognition in the parks.
